have turned off the vehicle
stability assist (VSA) system.
This indicator h
as three functions: This indicator comes on wh en you
turn on the cruise control system by
pressing the CRUISE button (see
page ). The l
eft or right turn signal indicator
blinks when you signal a lane change
or tu rn. If an indicator does not blink
or blinks rapidly, it usually means
one of the turn signal bulbs is
burned out (see pages and ).
Replace the bulb as soon as possible,
since o ther drivers cannot see th at
you are signaling.
When you press the hazard warning
button, both turn signal indicators
and all turn signals on the outside of
the vehicle fl ash.
This indicator c
omes on when you
set the cruise control. See page for information on operating the
cruise control.
This indicator comes on with the
high beam headlights. For more
info rmation, see p age .
This indicator also comes on with
reduced brightness when the
daytime running lights (DRL) are on
(see page ).
It flashes w
hen VSA is active (see
page ).
It comes on along with the VSA
system indicator if there is a
problem with the VSA system.
You will also see a ‘‘CHECK VSA
SYSTEM’’ message on the multi-
information display (see page ).
This indicator normally comes on for
a few seconds when you turn the
ignition switch to the ON (II)
position. See page for more

Test the lights to make sure the
new bulb is working.
Insert the socket back into the
headlight assembly. Turn it
clockwise to lock it in place.
Open the hood. Remove the
socket f rom the headlight
assembly by turning it one-quarter
turn counterclockwise.
Pull the bulb straight out of its
socket. Push the new bulb straight
into the socket until it bottoms.Install the socket back into the
headlight assembly. Turn it
clockwise to lock it in place.
Install the new bulb in the socket.
Turn it clockwise to lock it in place. Remove the bulb f rom the socket
by pushing the bulb in and turning
it counterclockwise until it unlocks. Open the hood. Remove the
socket f rom the headlight
assembly by turning it one-quarter
turn counterclockwise. Turn on the lights to make sure
the new bulb is working.

Remove the two bolt covers on the
rear pillar by prying on the bottom
edge with a flat-tip screwdriver.
Remove the bolts with a Phillips-
head screwdriver, and remove the
light assembly f rom the rear pillar.Determine which of the three
bulbs is burned out: brake/
taillight, turn signal or rear side
marker.
Remove the socket by turning it
one-quarter turn counterclockwise.
Pull the bulb straight out of its
socket. Push the new bulb straight
into the socket until it bottoms.Turn on the lights to make sure
the new bulb is working.
Put the socket back into the light
assembly, and turn it clockwise to
lock it in place.
Install the rear light assembly in
the rear pillar. Tighten the two
bolts. Snap the bolt covers into
position.
Open the tailgate.

signal lights. The lights should be
replaced by your dealer.
The license plate has two lights
above it. The bulbs should be
replaced by your dealer.
Reinstall the high-mount brake
light assembly into the tailgate.
Tighten the two screws and
reinstall the covers.
