When the engine is running and the
v e h i c l e i s m o v i n g , i t l a s h e s i f t h e
system is activated.
I t i s l i t c o n t i n u o u s l y w h e n t h e s y s t e m
is disarmed.

after the engine is started.
I f t h e l i g h t c o m e s o n w h e n t h e e n -

audible signal and a message on the
m u l t i f u n c t i o n d i s p l a y , t h i s i n d i c a t e s a
malfunction of the emission control
system.

This light comes on for a
f e w s e c o n d s e a c h t i m e t h e
i g n i t i o n i s s w i t c h e d o n .
If it remains on or comes on above
8 m p h ( 1 2 k m / h ) , t h i s i n d i c a t e s a
malfunction of the ABS.
H o w e v e r , t h e v e h i c l e r e t a i n s c o n v e n -
t i o n a l s e r v o - a s s i s t e d b r a k i n g .
I l l u m i n a t i o n o f t h i s l i g h t i s a c c o m p a -
n i e d b y a n a u d i b l e s i g n a l a n d a m e s -
s a g e o n t h e m u l t i f u n c t i o n d i s p l a y .

fastened warning light
When the ignition is
s w i t c h e d o n , t h e l i g h t
comes on if the driver has
not fastened his seat belt.
With the engine running and the
d o o r s c l o s e d , t h e l i g h t s w i t c h e s o f f
automatically after 30 seconds.
I f t h e s e a t b e l t i s u n f a s t e n e d :
- b e l o w 1 2 m p h ( 2 0 k m / h ) , t h e l i g h t comes on constantly,
- a b o v e 1 2 m p h ( 2 0 k m / h ) a n d f o r t w o m i n u t e s , t h e l i g h t l a s h e s
a c c o m p a n i e d b y a n a u d i b l e s i g n a l
of increasing volume. Once these
t w o m i n u t e s h a v e e l a p s e d , t h e
light remains on until the driver
fastens his seat belt.
