"Video" menu
Y o u c a n c o n n e c t v i d e o e q u i p m e n t
(camcorder, digital camera, DVD
p l a y e r , . . . ) t o t h e t h r e e a u d i o / v i d e o
s o c k e t s , l o c a t e d i n t h e g l o v e b o x .
Videos can only be displayed
when stationary.
Once this menu has been selected,
y o u c a n s e l e c t :
- " A c t i v a t e v i d e o m o d e " t o a c t i v a t e / deactivate the video,
- " V i d e o p a r a m e t e r s " t o s e t t h e d i s p l a y f o r m a t , t h e b r i g h t n e s s ,
the contrast and the colours.
Press the "MODE" or "DARK"
b u t t o n t o d i s c o n n e c t t h e d i s p l a y -
ing of the video.
Press the "SOURCE" button
several times in succession to
select an audio source other than
that of the video.
Select the line "Duration of the
" f o l l o w - m e - h o m e " l i g h t i n g " t h e n
c o n i r m .

Turn the dial to select the
" L i g h t i n g c o n i g u r a t i o n " menu,
t h e n p r e s s i t t o c o n i r m .

dial.
Turn the dial to set the value
r e q u i r e d ( 1 5 , 3 0 o r 6 0 s e c o n d s ) ,
t h e n p r e s s t h e d i a l .
Select the "OK" b o x , t h e n
c o n i r m . T h e R T 4 G P S a u d i o / t e l e -
p h o n e m u s t r e i n i t i a l i s e a n d
restart in order to change
the voice used by the voice
synthesiser (male or female)
or the language used by the
system.

Changing these options may completely change the ro ute.

then SOUNDS, then ACTIVATE AUXILIARY SOURCE to acti vate
the auxiliary input of the RT4 GPS audio/telephone.
Connect the portable equipment (MP3
p l a y e r … ) t o t h e a u d i o s o c k e t s ( w h i t e a n d
r e d , R C A t y p e ) l o c a t e d i n t h e g l o v e b o x
using a JACK/RCA audio cable.
Press the SOURCE button several
times in succession and select AUX. Insert one or more CDs in the
changer.
Press the SOURCE button several
times in succession and select CD
CHANGER.
Press one of the buttons on the
alphanumeric keypad to select the
corresponding CD.
Press one of the buttons to select a
track on the CD.
The displaying and management of the commands takes place via
the portable equipment.

Insert the CDs in the changer one by
one.
Press the SOURCE button several
times in succession and select CD
CHANGER.
Press one of the buttons on the
numeric keypad to select the
corresponding CD.
Press one of the buttons to select a
track on the CD.
Press and hold one of the buttons for
fast forwards or backwards play. Insert circular compact discs only.
Some anti-pirating systems, on original discs or CD

copied using a personal recorder, may cause faults
w h i c h a r e n o r e l e c t i o n o n t h e q u a l i t y o f t h e o r i g i n a l
player.
Without pressing the EJECT button, insert a CD in t he
player, play begins automatically.
To play a disc which has already been
inserted, press the SOURCE button
several times in succession and select
CD. Press one of the buttons to select a
track on the CD.
Press the LIST REFRESH button to
display the list of tracks on the CD.
