DRIVING
First activation/memorising a
reference speed
As soon as you reach the chosen
s p e e d , p r e s s b u t t o n 2 or 3 . This mem-
o r i s e s t h e s p e e d a n d t h e d i s p l a y i n d i -
c a t e s ( e . g . a t 7 0 m p h ( 1 1 0 k m / h ) ) :
T h i s c r u i s e c o n t r o l h a s a d i s p l a y o n
t h e i n s t r u m e n t p a n e l t o i n d i c a t e t h e
m e m o r i s e d r e f e r e n c e s p e e d .
It enables the vehicle to maintain a
s t e a d y s p e e d p r o g r a m m e d b y t h e
driver.
In order for it to be memorised or ac-
t i v a t e d , t h e v e h i c l e s p e e d m u s t b e
g r e a t e r t h a n 2 5 m p h ( 4 0 k m / h ) w i t h
at least fourth gear engaged for vehi-
c l e s i t t e d w i t h a m a n u a l g e a r b o x .
O n v e h i c l e s i t t e d w i t h a n a u t o m a t i c
g e a r b o x , t h e l e v e r m u s t b e i n p o s i -
tion D or at least second gear must
b e e n g a g e d i n s e q u e n t i a l d r i v i n g
mode. When the cruise control function is
a c t i v a t e d , p r e s s i n g t h i s b u t t o n e n a -
b l e s y o u t o d i s p l a y t h e d i s t a n c e r e -
corder.
A f t e r a f e w s e c o n d s o r w h e n t h i s b u t -
t o n i s p r e s s e d a g a i n , t h e d i s p l a y r e -
turns to the cruise control function.
