Three buttons and a navigator en-

c a t i o n ( t r i p c o m p u t e r , d a t e , . . . ) ,
- "ESC" t o a b a n d o n t h e o p e r a t i o n
i n p r o g r e s s ,
- Rotation of the navigator: move-
m e n t o n t h e d i s p l a y o r c h a n g i n g
o f a s e t t i n g ,
- Press on the navigator: c o n i r -
mation of the selection.

Turn the navigator to select the menu
r e q u i r e d , t h e n c o n i r m b y p r e s s i n g
the navigator.
O n c e t h i s m e n u h a s b e e n s e l e c t e d ,
y o u c a n a c c e s s t h e f o l l o w i n g f u n c -
t i o n s :
- d e i n e t h e v e h i c l e p a r a m e t e r s ,
- d i s p l a y c o n i g u r a t i o n ,
- selection of the language.

Changing a wiper blade
L i f t t h e w i p e r a r m , t h e n u n c l i p t h e
blade and remove it.
F i t t h e n e w b l a d e a n d p u s h b a c k
the arm.
Note: t h e s h o r t e s t b l a d e i s i t t e d o n
t h e v e h i c l e ’ s r i g h t - h a n d w i n d s c r e e n
w i p e r a r m .
To return the windscreen wipers to
their normal position, switch on the
ignition and operate the wiper stalk.
BATTERY
To charge the battery using a
battery charger:
- Disconnect the battery starting
w i t h t h e n e g a t i v e ( - ) t e r m i n a l ,
- F o l l o w t h e i n s t r u c t i o n s f o r u s e given by the battery charger man-
u f a c t u r e r ,
- Check that the terminals and c o n n e c t o r s a r e c l e a n ; i f t h e y a r e
c o v e r e d w i t h s u l p h a t e ( w h i t e o r
g r e e n i s h d e p o s i t ) , d i s c o n n e c t
t h e m a n d c l e a n t h e m ,
- Reconnect the battery starting w i t h t h e n e g a t i v e ( - ) t e r m i n a l .
It is advisable to disconnect the
battery if the vehicle is not to be
used for a period of more than
one month.
To start the vehicle from
another battery:
- Connect the red cable to the
p o s i t i v e ( + ) t e r m i n a l s o f t h e t w o
b a t t e r i e s ,
- Connect one end of the green or black cable to the negative (-)
t e r m i n a l o f t h e s l a v e b a t t e r y ,

Connect the other end of the green
o r b l a c k c a b l e t o a n e a r t h p o i n t o n
t h e b r o k e n d o w n v e h i c l e a s f a r a s

then disconnect the cables.
CHANGING A WINDSCREEN
WIPER BLADE
Before disconnecting the bat-
t e r y , y o u m u s t w a i t f o r 2 m i n u t e s
a f t e r s w i t c h i n g o f f t h e i g n i t i o n .
Never disconnect a terminal
w h e n t h e e n g i n e i s r u n n i n g .
N e v e r c h a r g e a b a t t e r y w i t h o u t
i r s t d i s c o n n e c t i n g t h e t e r m i n a l s.
C l o s e t h e w i n d o w s , t h e r e t r a c t -
able roof and the doors before
disconnecting the battery. If the
w i n d o w s d o n o t o p e r a t e n o r m a l l y
f o l l o w i n g r e c o n n e c t i o n o f t h e b a t -
t e r y , t h e y m u s t b e r e i n i t i a l i s e d
(see sections "Reinitialisation of
t h e e l e c t r i c w i n d o w s " a n d " R e i n i -
