Direction indicators
Left, downwards.
Right, upwards.
For a change of direction, move the control stalk beyond the tight spot. The indicator is automatically cancelled when the steering wheel returns to its normal position.

Hazard warning lamps
This operates all the direction indi-cators simultaneously.
Only use them to indicate dan-ger, for an emergency stop or for driving in abnormal conditions.
The hazard lamps can also be used with the ignition switched off.
The direction indicators cannot operate if the hazard warning lamps are on.
Emergency operation of haz-ard warning lamps
A sudden deceleration of the vehi-cle causes the hazard lamps to come on automatically.
They will cease to operate auto-matically, or manually if you press the hazard lamps button on the dashboard.

A. Sunlight sensor.B. Soft air conditioning diffusion grille.The soft diffusion grille located in the centre of the dashboard provides an optimum air distribution for the front seats.
This device eliminates unpleasant air currents whilst maintainin g an optimum tempera-ture in the passenger compartment.
To open the soft air diffusion grille, move the control knob upwards.
To close the soft air diffusion grille, move the control knob all the way down.
In very hot weather, to improve the central and lateral venti lation, closing off the soft diffusion air conditioning is recommended.

Ambient dashboard lighting
Your vehicle is equipped with warm and welcoming ambient lighting.
A soft orange light is emitted.
Operation
When starting the engine, lights located along the dashboard are activated.
With the ignition on and the head-lamps on, button A allows you to activate or deactivate the ambient dashboard lighting.
Ambient central console lighting
These lights are located on the roof console, near the front interior lamp. They light up the central con-sole.
Operation
These lights are activated when the instrument panel comes on. They are deactivated when the instrument panel goes out.
The intensity of the lighting var-ies along with that of the instru-ment panel. Press on button B to increase or reduce the intensity of the lighting.
Door opening controls light-ing
They are located on the front and rear interior door opening controls.
The rear door opening controls lighting is deactivated if child safety is activated.

FUSEBOXES
There are two fuse boxes, one below the dashboard and one under the bonnet.
Dashboard fuses
To access the fuses under the dashboard, open the glovebox and then detach the stowage cover.

Replacing a fuse
Before replacing a fuse, you should ascertain the cause of the fault and have it remedied. The numbers of the fuses are indicated on the fusebox.
Replace the fuse that has blown with one of the same rating (same colour).
Use the special pliers 1 p l a c e d o n t h e fl a p c l o s e t o t h e f u s e b o x e s . T h e fl a p a l s o h a s s p a r e f u s e s a v a i l a b l e .
