In order to be able to use a rear-facing child seat in the front pas-senger's seat position, it is impera-tive to deactivate the passenger's airbag.
For that:With the ignition switched off, insert the key into the switch I.
Turn the key to the “OFF” posi-tion, the passenger's airbag is deactivated.
The front passenger's airbag deac-tivation warning lamp G lights up when the ignition is switched on.

Seat belt not fastened
This warning lamp is located on the roof console, in front of the front interior lamp. It informs you of the driver and passenger seat belts which are not fastened.
The lit up locations represent the seat positions which are not fas-tened.
Driver's seat belt not fastened:The warning lamp lights up from 0 to 20 km/h (12 mph).Over 20 km/h (12 mph):
t h e w a r n i n g l a m p fl a s h e s ,a beep is repeated for about 2 minutes with 3 progressive loudness levels.

Front passenger's airbag deactivation
In order to be able to use a rear-facing child seat in the front pas-senger's seat position, it is impera-tive to deactivate the passenger's airbag.

Child seats secured by means of the vehicle seat belt
In conformity with Directive 2005/40, the table tells you to what extent each of the seat positions in your vehicle may take a child seat that is secured by means of the vehicle seat belt and approved as “Univer-sal” as a function of the weight of the child.
Consult “User Precautions”, chapter on “Child Safety” at the end of this handbook, in order to ensure that you are installing your child in conditions of maxi-mum safety.

In the front passenger's s e a t p o s i t i o n , i t i s imperative to deactivate the front passenger's airbag if you are installing a “rear-facing” child seat there. Otherwise the child risks being k i l l e d o r s e r i o u s l y i n j u r e d should the airbag deploy.

ISOFIX child seat recom-mended
The ISOFIX child seat recom-mended for your vehicle is the RÖMER Duo Plus ISOFIXmended for your vehicle is mended . It is marketed by the CITROËN net-work.
It is equipped with a top belt and so is approved as an “ISOFIX univer-sal” child seat, size class B1. It is essential to use the top belt.
This ISOFIX child seat can also be i n s t a l l e d i n s e a t s n o t fi t t e d w i t h I S O -FIX anchoring points. In this case, the child seat must be secured by means of the vehicle seat belt.
