Display
As soon as you open the driver's door, the instrument panel displays the total mileage and trip mileage.
When you switch on the ignition, it scrolls through the following infor-mation:Maintenance indicator.
The engine oil level indicator.
Total mileage.
It also displays the trip mileage or trip computer information (depend-ing on the memory status since the vehicle was last stopped).
Trip mileage recorder reset
This can operate when the ignition is switched on.
Press B to show the trip mileage, then give a long press on B to reset the counter to zero.
Engine oil level indicator
When the ignition is switched on, the maintenance indicator is displayed for s e v e r a l s e c o n d s f o l l o w e d b y t h e e n g i n e o i l l e v e l f o r a p p r o x i m a t e l y 1 0 s e c -onds. See “Maintenance indicator”.
An incorrect engine oil level can seriously damage your engine.
Fuel low/Fuel gauge
W h e n t h e t a n k i s f u l l , a l l 8 b a r s a r e l i t u p . T h e y g o o u t o n e b y o n e .
If the fuel low warning lamp comes on accompanied by a beep, t h e r e r e m a i n a r o u n d 4 t o 6 l i t r e s o f f u e l i n t h e t a n k .
I f " b l a c k p a n e l " m o d e i s a c t i v e a n d t h e r e a r e o n l y a r o u n d 4 t o 6 l i t r e s o f f u e l in the tank, that will make the fuel low warning lamp come on.
Flashing of "OIL" indicates an oil level that is below the minimum.
Check using the manual dipstick. See “Levels”.
Check the engine oil level on horizontal ground with the engine having been switched off for at l e a s t 1 5 m i n u t e s .
Contact a CITROËN dealer.
A fl a s h i n g o f “OIL – –” indicates a malfunction-ing of the indicator.
Contact a CITROËN dealer.
Display of "OIL OK" indicates normal function-ing.

Lighting rheostat
The dimmer is active when the lamps are on and affects:The instrument panel: Rev counter, fuel level display.
The display screen.
The air conditioning control panel.
Selection of mode and brightness is done by pressing the dimmer button A on the instrument panel.
Night driving (headlamps on)
4 l e v e l s o f b r i g h t n e s s + 1 l e v e l f o r Black panel.
Adjustment is by successive presses on button A in the follow-ing cycle:
l e v e l 4 W l e v e l 3 W l e v e l 2 W level 1 W Black panel.
This function is to give you the best possible visual conditions for driv-ing at night.
In black panel mode, the following information only will be displayed temporarily, should you request it or in the event of an alert:The warning lamps in zone C(bottom area of the instrument panel) will come on in the event of an alert: e.g. fuel low, coolant temperature.
The direction indicator warning lamps.The speed indicator.
The gear engaged.The mileage recorder each time you press button B.
The automatic air conditioning display each time you press one of the buttons.
The trip computer information.
Night driving T h e fi r s t p r e s s o n b u t t o n D“DARK” places the display on standby. Only the time and the temperature remain visible at the top of the screen.
A second press on D switches the screen and the instrument panel off (black panel) with the exception of information con-cerning for example:The speed indicator.The gearbox.Cruise control / Speed limiter if this has been activated.Note: Timed lighting of func-tions if you:
Press any of the display con-trols.Select Radio-CD.Operate any of the air condi-tioning controls.Note: All the displays come on if there is an alert.A third press on D returns you to normal lighting.

Main Menu
Press on button A to bring up the “Main menu” of the multifunc-tion display. This menu gives you access to the following functions:
Radio-CD
(See radio-CD handbook).
Trip computer, giving you:Entering the distance to the destination.
Access to the log of alerts (recall of the alerts signalled previously.
Access to status of functions, for example activation/deacti-vation of automatic lighting of headlamps, ESP, windscreen wipers.
P e r s o n a l i s a t i o n - C o n fi g -uration, allowing you to activate or deactivate:Triggering of rear screen wipe.
The automatic guide-me-home lighting.
Automatic lighting of headlamps.
And choosing:The brightness, the time, the date and the display units.
The display language.
Bluetooth® hands-free kit®

Note: The outside tem-perature displayed may be higher than the actual temperature if the vehicle is stationary in bright sun-light.

Trip computer
To enter the distance to be trav-elled on the trip computer:Press button A.
Use B to select the icon “Trip c o m p u t e r ” , t h e n c o n fi r m w i t h a press on C.Select entry of distance using B. C o n fi r m y o u r c h o i c e w i t h a press on C.
To choose the distance, select t h e fi g u r e y o u w i s h t o m o d i f y by using B , t h e n c o n fi r m w i t h a press on C.
Use B to adjust the value, then validate by pressing C. V a l i d a t e “OK” on the screen.
To access the trip computer's log of alerts:Press button A.
Use B to select the icon “Trip c o m p u t e r ” , t h e n c o n fi r m w i t h a press on C.Select the log of alerts.
When the list displays, use B to scroll through it.
Press D to return to the perma-nent display.
To access the status of functions: proceed in a similar manner.

To activate/deactivate rear screen wipe on engaging reverse gear:Press button A.
Use B to select the icon “Per-s o n a l i s a t i o n - C o n f i g u r a t i o n ” t h e n c o n fi r m y o u r c h o i c e b y pressing C.Then select the sub-menu for the vehicle parameters. Con- fi r m y o u r c h o i c e w i t h a p r e s s on C.
Use B to select parking assist- a n c e . C o n fi r m y o u r c h o i c e w i t h a press on C.
Then with a press on C, select/deselect rear screen wipe to activate or deactivate it. V a l i d a t e “OK” on the screen.Note: The activation/deactivation registers immediately.
To activate/deactivate the auto-matic guide-me-home lighting:Press button A.
Use B to select the icon “Per-s o n a l i s a t i o n - C o n f i g u r a t i o n ” t h e n c o n fi r m y o u r c h o i c e b y pressing C.
Then select the sub-menu for the vehicle parameters. Con- fi r m y o u r c h o i c e w i t h a p r e s s on C.
Using B, select lighting and s i g n a l l i n g . C o n fi r m y o u r c h o i c e with a press on C.Then press C to select/deselect the guide-me-home lighting, to activate/ deactivate it. After activation, choose the duration: press C then use B to select the duration, then press C.
V a l i d a t e “OK” on the screen.
To activate/deactivate the auto-matic lighting of headlamps:Press button A.
Use B to select the icon “Per-s o n a l i s a t i o n - C o n f i g u r a t i o n ” t h e n c o n fi r m y o u r c h o i c e b y pressing C.
