The front airbags are designed to provide tional protecti on the chest and race or the

It is important to remembe r that while the sys tem is desig ned to reduce the like lihood serio us injuries, other inj uries, exampl e swellin g, bruising and minor sio ns, can also happen when airbags ba gs do not pro tect the arms or the lower parts he body. Front airbags only supplement the three p oint safety in som e frontal collisions in whi ch the decele ration is high enough to the airba gs.
