Bi-Level
Air is discharged through the face vents and the floor vents. This makes it possible to have cooler air from the dashboard vents and warmer air fromthe floor outlets at the same time. Floor-Level
Air is discharged through the floor vents,windshield defroster nozzle, side de- froster nozzle and side ventilator. If the "Floor" mode is selected, the"Fresh" mode will be activated.
Floor-Defrost Level
Air is discharged through the wind- shield defroster nozzle, the floor vents,side defroster nozzle and side ventila- tor. If the "Floor-Defrost" mode is selected,the A/C will turn on automatically and "Fresh" mode will be activated.

With the "Fresh" mode selected, air enters the vehicle from the outside andis heated or cooled according to the function selected. With the "Recirculation" mode selected, air from within the passenger compart- ment will be drawn through the heatingsystem and heated or cooled according to the function selected. NOTE: It should be noted that prolonged operation of the heating system in "recirculation" mode will give rise to fogging of the windshield and sidewindows and the air within the pas- senger compartment will become stale. In addition, prolonged use ofthe air conditioning with the "Recir- culation" mode selected may result in the air within the passenger com-partment becoming excessively dry.

4. Replace the blown fuse by pressing
a new fuse of the same rating into place. The fuse should be a snug fit. If it is not, have the fuse clip repairedor replaced by a Hyundai dealer. If you do not have a spare fuse, you may be able to borrow a fuse of thesame or lower rating from an acces-
G200B02A-AAT Replacing Accessory Fuse The fuse box for the lights and other electrical accessories will be found lowon the dashboard on the driver's side. Inside the box you will find a list show- ing the circuits protected by each fuse.If any of your car's lights or other electrical accessories stop working, a blown fuse could be the reason. If thefuse has burned out, you will see that the metal strip inside the fuse has burned through. If you suspect a blownfuse, follow this procedure:
HLC40021. Turn off the ignition and all other
switches.
2. Open the fuse box and examine each fuse. Remove each fuse bypulling it toward you (a small "fusepuller" tool is contained in the fuse box to simplify this operation).
3. Be sure to check all other fuses even if you find one that appears tohave burned out.
HLC4003sory you can temporarily get along without (the radio or cigarette light-er, for example). Always remember to replace the borrowed fuse.

Face-Level
Selecting the "Face" mode will cause air to be discharged through the face level vents.
This is used to select fresh outside air or recirculating inside air.
FreshRecirculation
With the " " mode selected, airenters the vehicle from outside and isheated or cooled according to the other functions selected. NOTE: Look at a tape before you insert it. If the tape is loose, tighten it by turning one of the hubs with a pencil or your finger.If the label is peeling off, do not put it in the drive mechanism. Do not leave tapes sitting wherethey are exposed to hot, warm, or high humidity, such as on top of the dashboard or in the player.If a tape is exposed to excessively hot or cold, let it reach a moderate temperature before putting it in theplayer. B870A01A-AAT Fixed Rod Antenna (If Installed) Your car uses a fixed rod antenna to receive both AM and FM broadcast signals. This antenna is a removable type. Toremove the antenna, turn the antenna counterclockwise. To install the an- tenna, turn the antenna clockwise.
CAUTION:
o Be sure to remove the antenna before washing the car in an auto-matic car wash or the antenna may be damaged.
! B870C01A-GAT Manual Antenna (If Installed) Your car uses a manual stainless steel antenna to receive both AM and FM broadcast signals. Pull up the antenna using your fingers, as shown in thedrawing. NOTE: Before entering an automatic car wash or a place with a low heightclearance, be sure that the antenna is fully retracted.
