Install the new bulb, and turn it
one-quarter turn clockwise to lock
it in place.
Push the electrical connector onto
the bulb.
Put the inner f ender cover in place.
Install the two holding clips. Lock
each one in place by pushing on
the center.
Turn on the headlights to test the
new bulb.
Use a f lat-tipped screwdriver to
remove the two holding clips f rom
the inner f ender.
To change the passenger’s side
bulb, start the engine, turn the
steering wheel all the way to the
lef t, and turn of f the engine. To
change the driver’s side bulb, turn
the steering wheel to the right.
Pull the inner f ender cover away
f rom the f ender and bumper.
Remove the socket from the
headlight assembly by turning it
one-quarter turn counterclockwise.

To remove the burned out bulb,
push it in and turn it
counterclockwise until it unlocks.
Install the new bulb and turn it
clockwise to lock it in place.
Insert the socket into the
headlight assembly. Turn it
clockwise to lock it in place.
Put the inner f ender cover in place.
Install and lock each holding clip
bypushingonthecenter.
Testthenewbulbtomakesureit
works.
Set the lining back.
Remove the socket by turning it
one-quarter turn counterclockwise,
and pull the bulb straight out of its
socket.
Push a new bulb straight into the
socket until it bottoms, and
reinstall the socket into the light
assembly by turning it clockwise
until it locks.
Open the trunk.
Remove the holding clips f rom the
lining by using a f lat-tipped
screwdriver.

Open the trunk.
Remove the trim clips f rom the
right or lef t corner of the trunk lid
trim by caref ully prying them
using a small, f lat-tip screwdriver
wrapped with tape.Caref ully bend back the corner of
the trunk lid trim to expose thebulbs.
Remove the socket by turning it
one-quarter turn counterclockwise,
and pull the bulb straight out of its
socket.Install a new bulb into the socket,
and reinstall the socket into the
light assembly.
Test the light.
Push the trunk lid trim back into
position.
Press the trim clips back into their
holes.

Check the condition of the wiper
blades at least every six months.
Look f or signs of cracking in the
rubber, or areas that are getting
hard. Replace the blades if you f ind
these signs, or if they leave streaks
and unwiped areas when used.To replace a wiper blade:Raise the wiper arm of f the
windshield. Raise the driver’s side
first, then the passenger’s side. Disconnect the blade assembly
fromthewiperarmbypushingin
the lock tab. Hold the lock tab in
while you push the blade assembly
toward the base of the arm.

Remove the blade f rom its holder
by grasping the tabbed end of the
blade. Pull f irmly until the tabs
come out of the holder.Examine the new wiper blades. If
they have no plastic or metal
reinf orcement along the back
edge, remove the metal
reinf orcement strips f rom the old
wiper blade, and install them in
the slots along the edge of the new
blade.Slide the new wiper blade into the
holder until the tabs lock.
Slide the wiper blade assembly
onto the wiper arm. Make sure it
locks in place.
Lower the wiper arm down against
the windshield, the passenger’s
side first, then the driver’s side.

Block the rear wheels.
If the vehicle is to be stored f or a
longer period, it should be
supported on jackstands so the
tires are of f the ground.
Leave one window open slightly (if
the vehicle is being stored
indoors).
Disconnect the battery.Support the f ront wiper blade
arms with a f olded towel or rag so
they do not touch the windshield.
To minimize sticking, apply a
silicone spray lubricant to all door
and trunk seals. Also, apply a
vehiclebodywaxtothepainted
surfaces that mate with the door
and trunk seals.
Cover the vehicle with a
‘‘breathable’’ cover, one made
f rom a porous material such as
cotton. Non-porous materials, such
as plastic sheeting, trap moisture,
which can damage the paint.
If possible, periodically run the
engine until it reaches f ull
operating temperature (the
cooling f an cycles twice).
Pref erably, do this once a month.
Leave the parking brake off. Put
the transmission in Reverse
(manual transmission) or Park
(automatic transmission).

Park the vehicle on f irm, level and
non-slippery ground. Put the
transmission in Park (automatic)
or reverse (manual). Apply the
parking brake.The tools are in the trunk. Open
the trunk and raise the trunk f loor
by lif ting up on the back edge.
Turn on the hazard warning lights,
and turn the ignition switch to the
LOCK (0) position. Have all
passengers get out of the vehicle
while you change the tire. Take the tool kit out of the trunk.
Unscrew the wing bolt and take
the spare tire out of its well.
If you have a f lat tire while driving,
stop in a saf e place to change it.
Drive slowly along the shoulder until
you get to an exit or an area that is
far away from the traffic lanes.

The jack is behind a cover in the
right f ender. Remove the cover by
turning the handle counterclock-
wise, then pulling on the cover.Turn the jack’s end bracket
counterclockwise to loosen it, then
remove the jack.
Loosen each wheel nut 1/2 turn
with the wheel wrench.Placethejackunderthejacking
point nearest the tire you need to
change. Turn the end bracket
clockwise until the top of the jack
contacts the jacking point. Make
sure the jacking point tab is
