Fuel
Make sure there is sufficient gasoline in the tank.NOTE:_ If knocking or pinging occurs, use a different brand
of gasoline or higher octane grade. _CAUTION:_ Use only unleaded gasoline. The use of leaded
gasoline will cause severe damage to internal
engine parts, such as the valves and piston
rings, as well as to the exhaust system. _
Recommended fuel:
PREMIUM UNLEADED GASOLINE ONLY
For Europe:
PREMIUM UNLEADED GASOLINE
ONLY with a research octane number of
97 or higher
Fuel tank capacity:
Total:
10.0 L
Reserve:
1.9 L

WARNING
_
Do not overfill the fuel tank. Fuel expands
when it heats up. If the fuel tank is over-
filled, fuel could spill out due to heat from
the engine or the sun.
Be careful not to spill fuel, especially on
the engine or exhaust pipe which can
cause a fire and severe injury. Wipe up any
spilled fuel immediately.
Do not refuel right after the engine has
been running and is still very hot.
Be sure the fuel tank cap is closed secure-
ly.

NOTE:_ If a torque wrench is not available when you are in-
stalling a spark plug, a good estimate of the correct
torque is 1/4 to 1/2 turn past finger tight. Have the
spark plug tightened to the specified torque as
soon as possible. _4. Install the spark plug cap.CAUTION:_ Do not use any tools to remove or install the
spark plug cap, otherwise the ignition coil cou-
pler may be damaged. The spark plug cap may
be difficult to remove because the rubber seal
on the end of the cap fits tightly. To remove the
spark plug cap, simply twist it back and forth
while pulling it out; to install it, twist it back
and forth while pushing it in. _5. Place the fuel tank in the original position,
and then install the bolt.
6. Remove the fuel tank cap by turning it coun-
