HEADLAMP CONTROLTurning the headlamp control
clockwise to the first positionturns on the parking lamps,instrument panel lamps,license plate lamps, and thetail lamps. Continuing to turnthe headlamp control to thesecond position turns on the
headlamps. To use theautolamp light sensitive,automatic on off control forthe headlamps, turn theheadlamp control
counterclockwise. To turnautolamps off, turn thecontrol clockwise to the OFF
position. To activate the highbeams, simply pull the turnsignal lever towards you tothe second detent. Pull thelever towards you again todeactivate high beams. Usethe same lever to activate the
“Flash to Pass” feature. Pullthe lever towards you to thefirst detent to activate and release it to deactivate.

PANEL DIMMERUse to adjust the brightness
of the instrument panel andall applicable switches in thevehicle during headlamp andparking lamp operation.Move the control to the fullupright position, past detent,to turn on the interior lamps.

FOGLAMP CONTROL(IF EQUIPPED)With the ignition on, the
foglamps can be turned onwhen the headlamp control is in the parking lamp,headlamp or autolampposition, and the high beamsare not on. Simply pull theheadlamp control toward youto turn on the foglamps. Thefoglamp indicator light willilluminate. The foglamps willnot operate when the highbeams are activated.

WINDSHIELD WIPER
WASHER
The multifunction lever
controls the windshield wipermodes, speeds, and the
windshield washer. Forintermittent operation, movethe control up one position.
You can then adjust the
rotary control to the desired
interval speed. For normal orlow wiper speed, move thecontrol up two positions from
OFF. For high speedoperation, move the control
up three positions from OFF.
For windshield washercontrol, pull the end of the
lever toward you. With aquick pull and hold, thewipers will swipe three times
with washer fluid. With a longpull and hold, the wipers willactivate washer fluid for up toten seconds.

TRACTION CONTROL™ (IF EQUIPPED)This system helps you
maintain the stability andsteerability of your vehicle on
slippery road surfaces such
as snow, ice or gravel. Thesystem works closely withmany elements alreadypresent in the Anti LockBraking System. The system
defaults to ON, however,
should you become stuck, try
switching the TractionControl™ off.

SPEED CONTROLFor your speed control to
work, you must press andrelease the ON button.Pressing and releasing theOFF button disengages thesystem and turns it off.Speed control does not workat speeds below 30 mph
(48 km/h). To set a speed,accelerate to the desired
speed, press the SET button,then take your foot off the
accelerator pedal. You canincrease speed using speedcontrol by pressing andreleasing the SET+ buttonuntil you reach the desiredspeed; increasing speed by
1 mph (1.6 km/h) with each
tap. You can decrease speedin the same way using the
SET button. Pressing theRSM (resume) button willautomatically return thevehicle to the previously setspeed. The RSM control willnot work if the vehicle speedis below 30 mph (48 km/h)
or if the OFF button was
pressed. To disengage thespeed control, press the OFFor CNCL button or press thebrake pedal.

MESSAGE CENTER(IF EQUIPPED)With the ignition in the ON
position, the message centerdisplays important vehicleinformation by constantlymonitoring vehicle systems.
You may select displayfeatures on the messagecenter for a display of status.The system will also notifyyou of potential vehicleproblems with a display of

STEERING WHEEL
AUDIO CONTROLS
(IF EQUIPPED)These controls allow you to
adjust the radio and CDfeatures from the steeringwheel. Press MEDIA to select
AM, FM1, FM2 or CD. PressSEEK+/ to access thenext/previous strong stationor track on a CD. Press
VOL+/ to adjust volume andMUTE to mute the volume.

TILT STEERING
COLUMN
To adjust the steering wheel,
push the adjustment leverdown to unlock the steeringcolumn. While the lever isdown, tilt the steering columnto your desired position.Then, while holding thesteering column in place, pull the lever up to its originalposition to lock the steeringcolumn. Do not adjust while driving.

CHECK ENGINE LAMPThe Check Engine indicator
light illuminates when theignition is first turned to theON position to check thebulb. If the light turns solid orblinks, the On BoardDiagnostics System hasdetected a malfunction. Drivein a moderate fashion (avoidheavy acceleration ordeceleration) and have your
vehicle serviced immediately.

ABS WARNING LAMPIn an emergency, apply
continuous force to the brakepedal. Do not pump thebrakes. Any pulsation ormechanical noise you mayfeel or hear is normal. If thelight doesn’t illuminate orstays on, have your vehicle
serviced. Normal braking is still functional unless the brake warning light is also illuminated.

The Throttle Control/
Transmission Lampilluminates when a powertrainfault has been detected.Contact your dealer as soonas possible.
ENGINE COOLANT LAMPThe Engine Coolant Lamp
illuminates when the engine
coolant is low. Stop thevehicle as soon as possibleand let the engine cool.
