AND DISASSEMBLY
1. Remove all dirt, mud, dust, and
foreign material before removal
and disassembly.
When washing the machine with
high pressured water, cover the
parts follows.

2. Use proper tools and cleaning
equipment. Refer to “SPECIAL
TOOLS” section.
3. When disassembling the
machine, keep mated parts
together. They include gears,
cylinders, pistons, and other
mated parts that have been
“mated” through normal wear.
Mated parts must be reused as
an assembly or replaced.
4. During the machine disassem-
bly, clean all parts and place
them in trays in the order of dis-
assembly. This will speed up
assembly time and help assure
that all parts are correctly rein-
stalled.
5. Keep away from fire.

2. Utiliser les outils et le matériel de
nettoyage correct. Se reporter à la
section “OUTILS SPECIAUX”.
3. Lors du démontage de la machine,
garder les pièces connexes ensem-
ble. Ils comprennent les engrenages,
cylindres, pistons et autres pièces
connexes qui se sont “accouplées”
par usure normale. Les pièces con-
nexes doivent être réutilisées en un
ensemble ou changées.
4. Lors du démontage de la machine,
nettoyer toutes les pièces et les met-
tre dans des plateaux dans l’ordre
du démontage. Ceci diminuera le
temps de remontage et permettra
d’être sûr que toutes les pièces sont
correctement remontées.
5. Tenir éloigné du feu.

1. Nous recommandons d’utiliser des
pièces Yamaha d’origine pour tous

OIL PRESSURE INSPECTION

Start the engine and keep it
idling until oil starts to seep from
the oil pressure check bolt. If no
oil comes out after one minute,
turn the engine off so it will not
seize.
Check oil passages and oil
pump for damage or leakage.
Start the engine after solving
the problem(s) and recheck the
oil pressure.

de contrôle de la pression d’huide.
Lancer le moteur et le laisser tour-
ner au ralenti jusqu’à ce que l’huile
commence à suinter au niveau du
boulon de la rampe de graissage. Si
l’huile ne sort pas après une
minute, arrêter le moteur pour évi-
ter qu’il ne grippe.
Vérifier les passages d’huile et la
pompe à huile pour voir s’il y a des
fuites ou des dégâts.
Mettre le moteur en marche après
avoir remédié au(x) problème(s) et
vérifier à nouveau la pression
d’huile.
Serrer le boulon de contrôle de la
pression d’huile au couple indiqué.

N.B.:
Afin d’optimiser le flux de carburant
à plus petite ouverture des gaz, la vis
de richesse de chaque véhicule a été
réglée individuellement à l’usine.
Avant de régler la vis de richesse, la
visser complètement en comptant le
nombre de tours exact. Noter ce chif-
fre et dévisser la vis de ce nombre de
tours.
Visser la vis de richesse jusqu’à ce
qu’elle touche légèrement son
siège.
Dévisser la vis de richesse du nom-
bre de tour réglé à l’usine.

Brosser la chaîne pour enlever le
plus de saleté possible. Nettoyer
ensuite la chaîne avec un produit
de nettoyage pour chaîne.
ATTENTION:
Des petits joints toriques en caout-
chouc 1 sont montés entre les flas-
ques des maillons de la chaîne de
transmission. Le nettoyage à la
vapeur, les lavages à haute pression,
certains dissolvants et le kérosène peu-
vent endommager ces joints toriques.
3. Contrôler:
