Always be careful when skidding or sliding.
Learn to safely control skidding or sliding by
practicing at low speeds and on level, smooth
terrain. On extremely slippery surfaces, such
as ice, go slowly and be very cautious in order
to reduce the chance of skidding or sliding out
of control.
Never operate an ATV in fast flowing water or
in water deeper than that recommended in this
manual. Remember that wet brakes may have
reduced stopping ability. Test your brakes after
leaving water. If necessary, apply them several
times to let friction dry out the linings.
Always be sure there are no obstacles or peo-
ple behind you when you operate in reverse.
When it is safe to proceed in reverse, go slowly.
Always use the size and type tires specified in
this manual.
Always maintain proper tire pressure as de-
scribed in this manual.

Mesure du niveau d’huile de transmission finale
1. Placer le véhicule sur une surface de niveau.
2. Retirer le boulon de remplissage, puis contrôler le
niveau d’huile dans le carter de transmission finale.N.B.:_ L’huile doit arriver jusqu’au bord de l’orifice de remplis-
sage. _3. Si l’huile n’atteint pas le bord de l’orifice de rem-
plissage, ajouter de l’huile de moteur du type re-
commandé jusqu’au niveau spécifié.ATTENTION:_ Ne pas laisser pénétrer de corps étrangers dans le car-
ter de transmission finale. _4. Remettre le boulon de l’orifice de remplissage
d’huile en place.

1. Sitúe la máquina sobre una superficie nivelada.
2. Quite el perno del orificio de llenado y comprue-
be el nivel de aceite del cárter de la transmisión
final.NOTA:_ Deberá llegar hasta el borde del orificio de llenado. _3. Si el aceite está por debajo del borde del orificio
de llenado, añada aceite suficiente del tipo re-
comendado hasta el nivel adecuado.AT E N C I O N :_ Asegúrese de que no entren materias extrañas
en el cárter de la transmisión final. _4. Instale el perno del orificio de llenado de aceite.

Changement du niveau d’huile de transmission finale
1. Déposer le couvercle du carter de transmission fi-
nale après avoir retiré les boulons.
2. Placer le véhicule sur une surface de niveau.
3. Placer un récipient sous le carter de transmission fi-
nale afin d’y recueillir l’huile vidangée.
4. Déposer le boulon de l’orifice de remplissage et le
boulon de vidange afin de vidanger l’huile.
5. Monter le boulon de vidange, puis le serrer au cou-
ple spécifié.
6. Verser de l’huile de transmission finale du type re-
commandé jusqu’au goulot de l’orifice de remplis-
sage. Couple de serrage:
Boulon de vidange du carter de transmission
finale:
23 Nm (2,3 m·kgf)
Huile recommandée:
Voir page 10-9.
Quantité d’huile:
0,25 l
Cambio del aceite de la transmisión final
1. Desmonte la cubierta del cárter de la transmi-
sión final extrayendo los pernos.
2. Sitúe la máquina sobre una superficie nivelada.
3. Coloque un recipiente debajo del cárter de la
transmisión final para el aceite usado.
4. Quite el perno del orificio de llenado y el perno
de drenaje para drenar el aceite.
5. Instale el perno de drenaje y apriételo al par
prescrito.
6. Añada aceite de la transmisión final hasta el
borde del orificio de llenado. Par de apriete:

23 Nm (2,3 m·kgf)
