mountings . These are 2 rings loca-
ted between the seat back and seatcushion of your vehicle. The ISOFIX child seats are fitted
with 2 locks which fit onto these rings. Incorrect installation of a child seat in a vehicle compromises the protection of the child in the event ofa collision. This ISOFIX mounting system guarantees reliable, safe and fastinstallation of the child seat in yourvehicle. In this case,adjust the front passenger seat tothe intermediate longitudinal posi-tion and leave the passenger air bagarmed. The transportation of children in the rearwards facing position is permit-ted. In this position, it is essential todisarm the passenger air bag.Otherwise, the child would risk beingkilled or seriously injured if the airbag were to inflate.

For maximum safety, please follow these precautions:
- Since 1992, all children under
the age of 10 must travel in approved child seats* suited totheir weight , on seats fitted with a
seat belt or ISOFIX mountings.
- A child weighing less than 9 kgmust travel in the rearwardsfacing position both in the front
and in the rear. PEUGEOTrecommends that childrenshould travel in the "rearwardsfacing" position up to the age oftwo.
- Statistically, the safest seats inyour vehicle for the transporta-tion of children are the rearseats. PEUGEOT recommendsthat children travel in the reareven when a "rearwards facing"child seat is used.
- If a child is travelling on a booster seat, check that the lap section ofthe seat belt passes over the
child's thighs correctly. The chestsection of the seat belt must be posi-tioned on the child's shoulder withouttouching the neck. PEUGEOTrecommends that you use a boos-ter seat with a back, fitted with aseat belt guide at shoulder level.

The ISOFIX KIDDY* child seat This can be installed in the rearwards facing position from birthto 13 kg and in the forwards facingposition from 9 to 18 kg.
In the rear, in the forwards facing position, the front passenger seatmust be in the intermediate longitudi-nal position, with the seat backupright. In the rearwards facing position, the shell of the child seat must be incontact with the back of the corres-ponding front seat. These child seats may be usedwhere there are no Isofix mountings.In this case it is compulsory to attachthem to the vehicle's seat using thethree-point seat belt.
If the ISOFIX KIDDY seat is fitted in the rearwards facing positionon the front passenger seat, it isessential to disarm the passengerair bag. Follow the instructions for fitting the child seat indicated in the seat manufacturer's installationinstructions.

The ISOFIX R…MER Duo* child seat This child seat is installed in the for- wards facing position only for chil-dren weighing 9 to 18 kg. It is secu-red without the upper strap called the
Top Tether.For the comfort of your child, threeshell angles are possible: sitting,reclining and flat positions.When the Ršmer Duo is installed in
the rear, the front seat of the vehiclemust be adjusted so that the child'sfeet do not touch the back of the frontseat.

CHILD SEATS RECOMMENDED BY PEUGEOT
In addition to the ISOFIX child seats, PEUGEOT offers a complete range of child seats which are secured using the seat belt:
Group 0+: from birth to 13 kg
L1 - "Britax Babysure": installed in the rear-facing position using a three-point seat belt.
L2 - "Ršmer Baby-Safe": installed in the rear-facing position using a three-point seat belt. The deep and strengthened shell is designed to guarantee the child optimum protection in the event of a side collision.When one of these seats is installed in the front, it is compulsory to disarm the passenger air bag and the vehicle's seat must be adjusted to the intermediate longitudinal position.
Group 1: from 9 to 18 kg
L3 - "Ršmer Prince": installed using a two or three-point seat belt. For the safety of your child, it is imperative that the restraining cushion is used.
Group 2: from 15 to 25 kg
L4 - "Ršmer Vario'': installed using a two or three-point seat belt.
