To ensure that sufficient vacuum exists within the brake system dur-ing cold weather start-up condi- tions, it is necessary to run the engine at idle after starting the en-gine. NOTE: Fluid levels, such as engine oil, engine coolant, brake fluid, and windshield washer fluid, should be checked daily and/or weekly, orwhenever you refuel. If youneed to replace the filler cap, use a genuine Hyundai replacement part. If you open the fuel filler cap duringhigh ambient temperatures, a slight "pressure sound" may be heard. This is normal and not a cause forconcern. Whenever you open the fuel filler cap, turn it slowly.

Auto-Down window (Driver's Side) The Auto-Down window is moved to its fully open position by push on theswitch, and push in on the switch again to stop at the desire position.
CAUTION:
Never try to operate the main switch and sub switch in opposing direc-tions at the same time. If this is done, the window will stop and cannot be opened or closed.
WARNING:
o Be careful that head or hands and body are not trapped by aclosing window.

B350B01A-AAT Windshield Washer Operation To use the windshield washer, pull the wiper/washer lever toward the steer- ing wheel. When the washer lever isoperated, the wipers automatically make two passes across the wind- shield. The washer continues to oper-ate until the lever is released. NOTE:
o Do not operate the washer more
than 15 seconds at a time or when the fluid reservoir is empty.
o In icy or freezing weather, be
sure the wiper blades are notfrozen to the glass prior to oper- ating the wipers. HSRFL2116

Speed operation the interval adjuster switch.

adjuster switch.
NOTE:
o Before operating the wipers in cold weather, check to be sure that the wiper blades are not fro- zen to the windshield. Attempt-ing to operate the wipers while the blades are frozen to the wind- shield could cause the motor toburn out.
o If the wipers stop during opera-
tion because of ice or some otherobstruction on the windshield, the wiper motor could burn out even if the wiper switch is turnedoff. If this occurs, promptly stop the vehicle, turn off the ignition switch, and clean the windshieldto allow proper wiper operation.
o Do not use the wipers when the
windshield is dry:doing so couldscratch the windshield and wear the blades prematurely.
