Theyaremosteffectivewhenyou

occupant’s head rests against the
center of the restraint.
The f ront and rear head restraints
adjust f or height. You need both
hands to adjust the restraint. Do not
attempt to adjust it while driving. To
raise it, pull upward. To lower the
restraint, push the release button
sideways and push the restraint
down.The back of the rear seat folds down,
giving you direct access to the trunk.
The seat-back can be released f rom
inside the vehicle or inside the trunk.When storing cargo, you can move
therearcentershoulderbeltoutof
the way by removing the belt f rom
the guide.
To fold down the seat-back from
inside the vehicle, insert the master
keyinthelockontherearshelf.
Turn the key clockwise, pull down
the top of the seat-back, then release
the key.

For security, this cover can be
locked and unlocked only with the
master key. To lock the cover, insert

the trunk lid open.

The trunk pass-through cover can be
opened f rom either side; it f olds
f orward onto the center armrest.
Open the cover by sliding the knob
downward and pushing or pulling on
the cover. To close the cover, swing
it up and push f irmly on the top.
Make sure it latches properly.

The power window system has a key-
of f delay f unction. The windows will
stilloperateforuptotenminutes
after you turn off the ignition.
Opening either f ront door cancels
the delay function. You must turn
the ignition switch to ON (II) again
bef ore you can raise or lower the
windows.You can open all of the windows
from the outside with the remote
transmitter.
Press the UNLOCK button once
to unlock the driver’s door.
Press the UNLOCK button a
second time, and hold it. The
passenger’s doors unlock, and all
f our windows start to open. To
stop the windows, release the
button.
To open the windows f urther,
press the button again.
You cannot close the windows with
the remote transmitter. To open:

with the key in the driver’s door lock.

Air conditioning is optional f or DX
models. Your Honda dealer can
install a Honda air conditioning
system that is designed to f it in your
vehicle.
For EX-L and EX-V6 with navigation
system, see page f or Automatic
Climate Control and Manual
Operations inf ormation. On EX-L and EX-V6 models with the
navigation system, you can manually
select the f an speed by pressing the
A/C button next to the display and
then, pressing the f an control icons.
On EX-L and EX-V6 models without
the navigation system, you can
manually select the f an speed by
pressing the f an control buttons. The
f an speed is represented by vertical
bars in the display.
On all models except EX-L and
EX-V6, turn this dial clockwise to
increase f an speed and increase the
airflow.
Turning this dial clockwise increases
the temperature of the airflow.For vehicles with the navigation
system, press the DUAL button and
the green indicator will come on.
The driver and passenger can each
select the temperature control
buttons ( or ) to the desired
setting.
When the indicator in the DUAL
button is off, both sides adjust to the
same temperature.
The driver and passenger can select
independent temperature settings by
selecting the DUAL button.
For vehicles without navigation
system, push the DUAL button.
When the indicator in the button is
lit, turn the dials to adjust the
temperature.

SEEK/SKIP f unction selects the
various categories in XM, such as
Jazz/Blues, Rock, Classical, etc.
Push the to change the
category f orward. Push the to
change the category backward. To
search f or channels within a
category, turn the TUNE knob
clockwiseorpresstheTUNEbar . The SCAN f unction
samples all channels f or 5 seconds.
To activate the function, push the
SCAN button. Push it again to get
out of the sequence.
Each preset icon or button
canstoreonechannelinXM1and
one in XM2. Push the SAT button, you will see
XM1 or XM2.
Use the TUNE, SEEK or SCAN
function to tune the radio to a
desired channel.
Pick a preset icon or button and
hold it until you hear a beep.
Repeat steps 1 to 3 to store a total
of six stations on XM1 and XM2. Once your XM channels are preset,
pressing the CH DISC button will
select your preset channels.
