LOADING SUGGESTIONS
Fiat Stilo Multi Wagon VAN was designed and approved in compliance
for certain maximum weights:
❒running order weight/total weight/towable weight;
❒useful carrying capacity;
❒maximum weight on front/rear axle.
Each of these limits must be well kept in mind, and they must in no way
be exceeded.
Other simple cares can improve driving safety. running comfort and
vehicle life time:
❒uniformly distribute the load on the platform. Should it become
necessary to concentrate the load in one area only, choose the
intermediate part between the two axles;
❒remember that the lower the load position, the lower becomes the
centre of gravity, and this facilitates safe driving: hence always position
at the bottom the heavier goods;
❒remember that the vehicle dynamic behaviour is influenced by the
transported weight: in particular braking spaces become longer,
specially at a high speed.
IMPORTANT In the case of a sudden braking, or occasional impacts, an
unexpected load movement could create hazardous situations for the
driver and the passenger: therefore before starting the journey, solidly
bind the load, using the special 6 hooks (see figure); for blocking use
cables, ropes or belts that are properly strong to suit the material to be
fixed.
