starting to drive.Turn the f og lights on and of f by
pressing the button. The indicator in
the button lights to show the f og
lights are on.
You can use the f og lights only when
the headlights are on low beam.
They will go of f when you turn the
headlights of f or onto high beam.
The rear window def ogger will clear
fog,frost,andthinicefromthe
window. Push the def ogger button to
turn it on and off. The indicator in
the button lights to show the
def ogger is on. If you do not turn it
of f , the def ogger will shut itself of f
af ter about 15 minutes. It also shuts
of f when you turn of f the ignition.
You have to turn it on again when
you restart the vehicle. Thedefoggerwiresontheinsideof
the rear window can be accidentally
damaged. When cleaning the glass,
always wipe side to side.

Turn the ignition switch to ON (II)

open the window, push the switch
downandholdit.Releasetheswitch
when you want the window to stop.
Pull back on the switch and hold it to
close the window. If the MAIN switch is OFF, the
passenger windows cannot be raised
or lowered. Keep the MAIN switch
off whenyouhavechildreninthe
vehicle so they do not injure
themselves by operating the
windows unintentionally. If the driver’s
window runs into any obstacle while
it is closing automatically, it will
reverse direction and then stop. To
close the window, remove the
obstacle, then use the window switch
again.
If your vehicle’s battery is
disconnected or goes dead, or the
driver’s window f use is removed, the
AUTO f unction will be disabled. The
power window system needs to be
reset af ter reconnecting the battery
or installing the f use.
Start the engine. Push down and
hold the driver’s window switch
until the window is f ully open.
Pull and hold the driver’s window
switch to close the window
completely, then hold the switch
f or a second or two more.
If the power windows do not operate
properly af ter resetting, have your
vehicle checked by an Acura dealer.
The windows will operate f or up to
10 minutes af ter you turn of f the
ignition switch. Opening either f ront
door cancels this f unction. To open/close the driver’s
window, push the window switch
f irmly down or up to the second
detent, and release it. The window
will automatically go up or down all
the way. To stop the window, pull/
push on the window switch brief ly. 1.

To open a compartment, pull the

area enable you to tie down items
stored in the back. Make sure all
stored items are secured bef ore

side window, remove the support rod

the extension out to get more
coverage on the side window.
Make sure you put the sun visor
back in place when you are getting
into or out of the vehicle. Do not use
the sun visor extension over the rear

the temperature to its lower limit or
its upper limit, the system runs at f ull
cooling or heating only. It does not

on, air f rom the vehicle’s interior is
recirculated throughout the system.

This setting is suitable f or all driving
conditions whenever the outside
temperature is above 32°F (0°C).
you can
cool it down more rapidly by partially
opening the windows, turning on the
A/C, and setting the fan to
maximum speed in Fresh Air mode.
The vehicle has two A/C and
heater units. These units are
controled by the f ront panel controls,
unless the RR A/C button is turned
on. The rear passengers can also
adjust the direction, and temperature
and amount of the airf low. Air conditioning, as it cools, removes
moisture from the air. When used in
combination with the heater, it
makes the interior warm and dry.
To remove f og f rom the inside of the
windows:
Switch the f an on.
Turn on the air conditioning.
Select and Fresh Air mode.
Adjust the temperature to your
pref erence.
When you switch to another mode
f rom , the A/C stays on.
Press the A/C button to turn it of f .Set the f an to the desired speed, or
high f or f aster def rosting.

The Automatic Climate Control
system can adjust the f an speed and
airflow levels to maintain the interior
temperature you select.Press the AUTO button.
Set the desired temperature with
the temperature control buttons.
You will see FULL AUTO in the
system’s display.
The system automatically selects the
proper mix of conditioned and/or
heated air that will, as quickly as
possible, raise or lower the interior
temperature f rom its current level to
the set temperature. In FULL AUTO
the rear A/C control panel cannot be
used. In cold weather, the f an will not
come on automatically until the
heater starts to develop warm air.
You can manually select various
f unctions of the Climate Control
system when it is in FULL AUTO.
All other f eatures remain
automatically controlled.
Manually selecting a f unction causes

you to select a dubbed language,
subtitles, a chapter list, previews, etc.
Themenucontentswillvaryfrom
DVD to DVD.
Usethe,,,and buttons to select the desired
menu option. Then press ENT to
enter your selection. Use the and buttons to change
pages. You can also use the
numbered buttons to enter the two-
digit number of a menu option. You
do not have to press ENT. Press the
button again to close the window. Many DVDs are recorded with
subtitles or dubbed in multiple
languages. To select subtitles, press
the SUBTITLE button. To select a
dif f erent language than the one
being heard, press the AUDIO
button. Continue to press and
release the SUBTITLE or AUDIO
button to scan through all available
languages.
To change the
color, contrast, aspect ratio, and
brightness of the video screen, press
the DISP button. The current setting
of one will be displayed on the
screen each time you press the
button. Use the and buttons to change the setting
as desired. The display will disappear
f rom the screen several seconds
af ter you stop adjusting the setting. On some DVDs,
the scenes are recorded by more
than one camera, giving different
viewpoints of the same scene. By
pressing the Angle button, you can
select a dif f erent viewpoint.
In the
MENU selection mode, pressing the
RETURN button for less than 2
seconds changes the MENU display
to the previous page. Pressing the
RETURN button for more than 2
seconds while a DVD is playing
brings the system into the TITLE
enter mode. When you enter your
selection, the DVD player will start
playing f rom the selected title.
