Make sure that the engine stop switch is in the
“RUN” position. The engine stop switch controls
ignition and can be used at all times to stop the
engine, especially in an emergency. The engine
will not start or run when the engine stop switch

The starter motor cranks the engine when this

NOTE:
If the starter switch is pushed with the main
switch “ON” and the engine stop switch “OFF”,
the starter motor will be activated but the engine
will not start. To start the engine, be sure to
position the engine stop switch at “RUN”.EBU01128Light switch “LIGHTS”
Turn the switch to the “LO” position to switch on
the low beam and the tail/brake light.
Turn the switch to the “HI” position to switch on
the high beam and the tail/brake light.
Turn the switch to the “OFF” position to switch
off the headlight and the tail/brake light.NOTE:
The headlight and the tail/brake light can be
turned on only when the engine is started.

N.B.:
Si le contacteur du démarreur est enfoncé alors
que la clé de contact est sur “ON” et le coupe-
circuit du moteur sur “OFF”, le démarreur tour-
nera mais le moteur ne se mettra pas en marche.
Avant de mettre le moteur en marche, s’assurer

Tourner le contacteur à la position “LO” pour
allumer les feux de croisement et le feu
arrière/stop. Tourner le contacteur à la position
“HI” pour allumer les feux de route et le feu
arrière/stop. Placer le contacteur à la position
“OFF” pour éteindre les phares et le feu
arrière/stop.N.B.:
Le phare et le feu arrière ne s’allument que
lorsque le moteur tourne.
NOTA:
