EXTERIOR MIRRORS The exterior mirrors are divided into two zones:
Ð Upper mirror:
zoneA.
Ð Lower mirror: zoneB.
Manual exterior mirrors Each mirror can be adjusted in all four directions. Press the edges of the mirror to adjust it. Electric exterior mirrors Driver's mirror:
Ð Upper mirror:
zoneA.
Ð Lower mirror: zoneB.
Passenger mirror:
Ð Upper mirror: zone C.
Ð Lower mirror: zone D.
Turn the control to the right or to the left to select the correspon-
ding mirror.
Move the control in all four direc-tions to adjust.
Return the control to the centreposition 0. MANUAL INTERIOR MIRROR
The interior mirror has two positions:
Ð day (normal),
Ð night (anti-dazzle).
To change from one to the other, push or pull the lever on the lower
edge of the mirror.

You can select three positions:
Ð OFF:permanently off.
Ð AUTO (central posi-
tion) :lighting on

When the key is in the acces-sories position or the ignition ison, operate the correspondingswitch. 3 - Rear courtesy lights
Press the ends of the transparentcover to switch the courtesy light
on or off.

Moving off
With the engine running, to move off from position P:
it is essential to press the
brake pedal to exit position P,
select function R, D or M, then
gradually release the pressureon the brake pedal; the vehicle
moves off immediately.
You can also move off from position N:
release the handbrake, with yourfoot on the brake
select function R, D or M, then
gradually release the pressureon the brake pedal; the vehicle
moves off immediately.
WARNING When the engine is at idle, brakes not applied, if function R, D or Mis
selected the vehicle moves evenwithout the accelerator beingpressed. For this reason, do not leave chil- dren unsupervised inside thevehicle, with the engine running. When maintenance operations need to be carried out with the engine run-ning, apply the handbrake and selectposition P.
"PORSCHE TIPTRONIC SYSTEM" AUTOMATIC GEARBOX The four speed automaticgearbox offers a choice between the comfort of inte-
gral automatic operation , enhanced by a snowprogramme, or the pleasure of
manual gear changing .
Gear selection gate Move the lever in the gate to select a function. Once the function is selected, the corresponding indicator light appears on
the instrument panel display.

To gain access to the fuses in the engine compartment: unclip the cover.
Close the cover carefully when you have finished.

Operation The twin fuel system allows petrol or liquid petroleum gas (LPG version) orcompressed natural gas (CNG
version) to be used indifferently. Press switch 1on the left-hand side of
the instrument panel:
Ð green indicator light 2on; operating
using LPG/CNG,
Ð red indicator light 3on; operating
using petrol. Starting Irrespective of the position of switch
1,
the engine always starts using petrol. The switch to operation using LPG/CNG will take place if switch 1
is in the LPG/CNG position. The indi-
cator light 2flashes until the engine
reaches an adequate temperature. The switch from one fuel to the other is displayed by the switching on/swit-
ching off of the corresponding indica-tor light 2or 3.
When the minimum LPG/CNG levelis reached, while driving, this is indi-cated by lighting of the red indicatorlight of the group of indicator lights 4;
the system then switches to operation
using petrol automatically. It is advisable to drive in petrol mode from time to time to keep thepetrol injection system in goodcondition.
