Selecting a stored destination Using the direction arrows, select the directory in which the address you are looking for is stored, then press the "VAL"
button. The stored addresses are displayed. A cursor on the left-hand side of the screen indicates your
position in the list. Select a name by scrolling through the list using the direction arrows, then press the "VAL"but-
ton. The complete address is displayed. Select the "Vali-
date" function then press the "VAL"button. Select a guid-
ance criterion. Guidance begins, follow the instructions.

Storing an address in a directory When a new address is entered, you can store it by select- ing the "Store" function.
Enter the name for the address. If the name already exists
for a different address, you can replace the old addresswith a new one. Select the Personal directory or the Professional directory then press the "VAL"button. The address is then stored in
the directory of your choice (storage capacity is100 addresses).

Display configuration From the general menu, the "Configure display"menu
gives access to the following parameters: - Adjustment of the brightness and the video display
- Adjustment of the date and time.
- Selection of the language of the display and voice infor- mation (English, German, Spanish, French, Italian,Dutch).
- Adjustment of the mode and units. This allows selectionof the display in km/h or mph, in degrees Celsius orFahrenheit and selection of the time format (12 or 24hour mode). Navigation options From the navigation/guidance menu, the
"Navigation
options" menu offers the following options:
- Management of the directories. It enables an address
stored under a name to be renamed or deleted. To dothis, select the directory and the name to be changed.
-V oice synthesis volume adjustment.
- Deletion of all data stored in the two directories.
- Stopping or resuming of guidance. Two messages maybe displayed depending on the previous status:"Resume guidance" or "Stop guidance" .

Guidance tools Access to the "Guidance tools" menu is by pressing the
"VAL" button during guidance.
It enables: - the current guidance criterion to be changed,
- the programmed destination to be displayed or changed,
- the voice synthesis volume to be adjusted,
- the current guidance to be stopped.

Automatic operation1 - Temperature adjustment The value requested is displayed (from 15 to 30: comfortable tempera- ture = 22).Press the up and down arrows to adjust. 2 - Automatic
comfort programme
Press the " AUTO" button. The sys-
tem automatically adjusts the tem-perature to that selected, by starting
the air conditioning if necessary. It also manages the air flow and
intake, to ensure sufficient air circu-lation inside the vehicle. Adjustment of the air distribution must be carried out manually whenyou require it.
3 - Automatic visibility programme
In certain cases, the automatic com-fort programme can prove inade-quate to de-ice or demist the win-
dows (humidity, many passengers,ice). In such cases, select the auto-
matic visibility programme to
rapidly clear the windows. The system automatically manages the air conditioning, the air flow andthe air intake, distributing the air tothe windscreen and side windows.

4 - Setting the air distribution
Successive presses on the top or bottom part of thisbutton allow the air to bedirected to:
- the windscreen (de-icing or demist-ing),
- the windscreen and footwells,
- the central and side vents,
- the central and side vents andfootwells,
- the footwells.
Press the top or bottom part of thebutton to select the previous or nextsetting from the above list. Manual operation Y
ou may, if you wish, make a differ-
ent choice from that offered by the system, by changing one of the set-tings. Press the " AUTO" button to return to
automatic operation.
5 - Air conditioning
Pressing this button stops the air condi-
tioning. Pressing again returns theair conditioning to automatic opera-
tion. The symbol " A/C" is displayed.
6 - Air flow
The air flow may beincreased or reducedby pressing the '' + ''
or '' –'' button respectively. 7 - Air intake
This button ispressed for recircula-
tion of the interior air.
Recirculation, shown on the display,prevents the entry of unpleasantodours or fumes into the passengercompartment from outside. A void prolonged operation of the
recirculation of interior air. A second press returns the system to automat-
ic intake of air. Used in humid conditions, recircula- tion risks misting up the windows.
8 - Demisting therear screen
With the engine run-ning, pressing the
switch demists the rear screen andthe mirrors.
It switches off automatically after approximately fifteen minutes. Press again to resume demisting. It is possible to stop the demisting
operation before it goes off automat-
ically, by pressing the switch again. Note: The condensation created by
air conditioning causes a normal flow of water under the vehicle when
stationary.

Changing the battery of the remote control The information
"battery flat"is
given by an audible signal accompa- nied by a message on the multifunc-
tion display.
To replace the battery, unclip the
casing using a coin at the ring (CR2016/3 volt battery). If the remote control does not work after the battery has been changed,reprogramme the remote control.
Confidential card The confidential card contains the identification code necessary for anywork carried out by a PEUGEOT
dealer on the system. This code ishidden by a film, which should be
removed only if necessary. Keep your card in a safe place, never inside the vehicle. Key in ignition A
buzzer sounds on opening the dri-
ver's door, if the key has been left in the ignition. Locating your car
To locate your car, if you have locked
it, in a car park:
☞ press button A.The courtesy
lights come on and the direction indicators flash for a few seconds.
Programming the remote control
☞ Switch off the ignition.
☞ Switch the ignition on again.
☞ Press button Aimmediately.
☞ Switch off the ignition and remove the remote control key from the
ignition lock. The remote controlis now working again.

AUTOMATIC SWITCHING ON OF THE LIGHTS Side lights and dipped beam head- lamps switch on automatically if the
light is poor, or during continuousoperation of the windscreen wipers.
They switch off as soon as the lightbecomes bright enough or the wind-screen wipers stop. This function is active when the vehi-
cle is supplied to the customer.
To disarm or activate the function:
☞ Place the key in the accessories position (1st notch),
☞ Press the end of the lights stalkfor more than two seconds.
Note: In foggy weather, the bright-
ness sensor can detect sufficientlight. Because of this, the lights do
not come on automatically. Do not cover the brightness sen-
sor connected to the rain sensor,located in the windscreen behind
the mirror. It is used for automaticswitching on of the lights. Operating check Activation Activation of this function is accom- panied by an audible signal and themessage
"Automatic lighting of
the headlamps activated" on the
multifunction display. Note: Always operate the lighting
controls manually where this is pos- sible. Disarming Disarming of the function is accom- panied by an audible signal and themessage "Automatic lighting of
the headlamps deactivated" on the
multifunction display. When driving, if this function is
switched off when the headlampswould switch on in automatic mode,the lights remain on. It is however possible to disarm this
function and switch off the lights by: - manually switching off the lights using the lights stalk,
- switching off the engine. If the brightness sensor does not
function correctly,
the system acti-
vates the function (the lights comeon). The driver is alerted by the flashingof the ''dipped beam'' warning lighton the instrument panel.
Contact a PEUGEOT dealer to have the system checked. Follow me Home When there is a low level of bright- ness or at night, if you leave yourvehicle, the side lights and thedipped beam lights may remain onfor approximately one minute.
To do this:
☞ place the lights stalk in the AUTO
position,
☞ place the key in the accessories position (first notch),
☞ press the end of the lights stalk formore than two seconds,
☞ place the lights stalk in the 0posi-
tion,
☞ flash the headlamps,
☞ get out of the car and lock it.
