THE RETRACTABLE ROOF Before operating the roof:
It is advisable to park the vehicle on horizontal ground, it is possible to carry out the operation at a speed below
6 mph (10 km/h).
Ensure that the screen 1is hooked on (no object must
be placed on the screen or on the hinged covers 2; if
there is luggage in the boot, this must not push thescreen upwards).
Check that no object has been placed on the rear par-cel shelf.
Close the boot correctly.
Turn the ignition switch to the accessories or runningposition (1st or 2nd notch). It is advisable to carry outthe operation with the engine running. Opening the roof:
Carry out the preparatory operations, indicated opposite.
Then, pull switch 3until the roof opening operation is
complete, confirmed by an audible signal.
When carrying out this manoeuvre, the four windows
lower, the boot opens, the hinged covers unfold, the rooffolds up and stores itself in the boot, the moving shelf posi-tions itself, then the boot closes. Notes: if you continue to pull button 3once the cycle is
complete, the four windows rise again. The control buttons for the windows become operational again at the end of the roof operation.

Front fog lamps (1st for-wards turn of the ring)
The front fog lamps operate with theside lights and dipped headlamps. When the main beam headlamps are switched on, the front fog lamps are
switched off. They are switched onagain when the main beam head-
lamps are switched off. Front fog lamps andrear fog lamp (2nd for-wards turn of the ring)
Note: to switch off the rear fog lamp
and the front fog lamps, turn the ringtwice backwards.
Note: when the lights are switched
off automatically or when the dipped
headlamps are switched off manual-
ly, the front fog lamps, the rear foglamp and the side lights will remainon (turn the ring backwards to switch
off the front fog lamps. The side
lights will then be switched off). "Follow me home" lighting In poor light or at night, if you leave your vehicle, the side lights anddipped headlamps can be left on forapproximately one minute.
To do this:
Ð place the key in the STOPposi-
tion,
Ð place the lights stalk in the 0posi-
tion,
Ð flash the headlamps,Ð get out of the vehicle and lock it.
In good or rainy weather, both day and night, thefront fog lamps and therear fog lamp are daz-
zling and are prohibited. Do not forget to switch them off when they are no longer needed.

After the ignition has been switched off, if the stalk was in awipe position, you must reactivatethis function:
Ð move the stalk to any position,
Ð then move it back to the required
position.
Special position of the front windscreen wiper
In the minute following switching off of the ignition, any action on the stalkpositions the wipers in the centre ofthe windscreen. This action enables you to position the wiper blades for winter parking,cleaning or replacement (See sec-tion "Practical information -Changing a wiper blade").
To park the wipers after this has been done, switch on the ignitionand operate the stalk.
Windscreen wash Pull the wipers stalk towards you. The windscreen wash, then the windscreen wipers, operate for afixed period.

Distance remaining to be travelled This is the distance remaining to the destination. It can either be calculat-ed by the navigation if guidance is
activated, or entered by the user,minus the distance covered since thedistance was entered. Note:
if digits are missing, dashes
are displayed in their place.
Average speed This is the average speed calculated since the computer was last set tozero (with the ignition on). The warning log This summarises the active warning messages by displaying them on the
multi-function display. The excess speed warning function* This monitors the maximum speed required. In the event that the pro-grammed speed is exceeded, themessage ''Speed too high'' appears
on the multi-function display, accom-panied by an audible signal. Activation Keep pressing the control until the display indicates "Excess speed
ON" .

Range This shows the distance that can still be covered with the fuel remaining inthe tank. Note:
this figure may increase if
there is a change in the style of dri- ving or the road surface, producing asignificant drop in current consump-tion. If horizontal segments are displayed for long periods instead of digits,
contact a PEUGEOT dealer. Current consumption This is the average quantity of fuel consumed during the last few se-conds. This function is displayed only when the vehicle is travelling at a speedgreater than 20 mph (30 km/h).
Average consumption This is the average fuel consumption since the computer was last set tozero. Distance travelled This indicates the distance travelled since the computer was last set tozero. Programming
Press the control briefly. Accelerate to the desired speed.Keep pressing the control to store in
memory. Switching off Keep pressing the control until the display indicates
"Excess speed
OFF" .
The routes The routes "1"and "2"are indepen-
dent but have identical application.Route "1" for example allows you to
make daily calculations and route "2" monthly calculations.
