The satellite navigation system guides you, by means of
(graphics), to
your chosen destination. The heart of the system lies in the use of a map data base and !

this system you can fix the positionof your vehicle by means of a satel-lite network. The system uses the following elements:
– the CD-Rom drive,
– the configuration CD-Rom,
– the navigation CD-Rom,
– the last voice message recall control,
– the control keypad,
– the CT monochrome screen or the DT colour screen.

5- Estimated time of arrival at destination.
6- Distance to final destination.
- Distance to next manoeuvre.

– depending on the situation of the vehicle and on the reception of GPS information, this information may disappear from the screen temporarily,

provides access to the following functions:
– changing of the route calculation criteria,
– voice synthesis adjustment of guidance messages,
– description of the information relating to the navigation CD-Rom,
– management of the addresses stored in the directory.

The last criterion used is displayed. Select a criterion from the list, then validate by pressing the dial. When the criterion of your choice has been selected, select the

function then confirm by pressing thedial.

Adjust the volume of the voice synthesis by turning the dial, then validate bypressing the dial.

"Resume guidance" In the absence of guidance, select this function then validate to activateguidance to the last destination programmed.

mode, you can see symbols, repre-senting the various types of serviceswhich exist, sorted by category: – "Administration and safety" symbol on a grey background,
– "Hotels, bars and restaurants" symbol on a yellow background,

– "Culture, tourism and entertainment" symbol on a white background,
– "Sports centres and open air centres" symbol on a green background,
– "Transporation and automobiles" symbol on a blue background. A

enlarge the map, in accordance with the thirteen preset levels relating tothe following scales:
– 50 m/cm, 100 m/cm, 150 m/cm, 200 m/cm, 500 m/cm,
– 1 km/cm, 2 km/cm, 5 km/cm,– 10 km/cm, 20 km/cm, 50 km/cm,– 100 km/cm, 200 km/cm.This is achieved by turning the dial. This mode permits:
