Opening / Closing using the
remote control:
press button C for more than two
seconds to open or close the rear
right door.
press button D for more than two
seconds to open or close the rear
left door.
Note: the electric sliding side doors
are fitted with an obstacle detection
system.
If an obstacle appears while the door
is closing, the door reopens.
If an obstacle appears while the door
is opening, the door stops.
In both cases, complete the required
action manually using the handle. Child lock
Electric
This disarms all of the electrical
controls in the rear.
 electric windows,
 sliding side doors,
 sunroofs.
With the ignition on, press button A.
The message "Child lock activat
ed" appears on the multifunction
display, accompanied by an audible
signal.
Always remove the key from the igni
tion on leaving the vehicle, even for
a short time.

The force with which the
door moves may cause
injury.
When opening or closing
the door, ensure that
nothing prevents the required
manoeuvre.
Do not leave children or animals
near the door controls without
supervision. If necessary, disarm
the controls, then remove the key
from the ignition, even for a short
time.
Before setting off, check that the
door is correctly closed and
locked (see "door open" warning).

ailgate release
This enables the tailgate to be
unlocked in the event of a central
locking fault.  Fold back a 2 nd
row rear seat,
 Fold back a 3 rd
row rear seat or
the bench seat to gain access to
the lock from inside the boot,
 Insert a small screwdriver into
hole Ain the lock and push it
towards the left to unlock the
tailgate .
TAILGATE
Simultaneous locking or unlock
ing of the tailgate and the doors
The tailgate is locked or unlocked by
the remote control or the driver's
door or passenger door lock.
To open, operate the handle
Aand
lift the tailgate.
Note: The tailgate locks automatical
ly when the vehicle is being driven at
more than 6 mph (10 km/h) and
unlocks when one of the doors is
opened.
"Tailgate open" warning
When the engine is running or the
vehicle is being driven, you are
warned if the tailgate is not closed
correctly by a diagram on the
multi–function display, accompanied
by an audible signal. Partially opening rear

To partially open the rear windows,

Trip computer configuration
This function allows inputting of the
distance to the destination (when
guidance is not activated; otherwise
the information is given by the navi
gation) and also changing of the
units (°C or °F, km and litres or miles
and gallons).
Diagnostics
This function tells you the warnings,
the quantity of emergency fuel and
the GPS cover present at the time
consulted.
Note:
these warnings have previous
ly been displayed in the form of mes
sages and/or warning lights on the
control unit.
There are 6 categories of diagnostics :
engine diagnostics (warnings linked to the engine, gearbox
etc....),
brake diagnostics,
suspension diagnostics (warnings linked to the suspension, ESP
etc....),
wheel diagnostics (warnings linked to tyres),
door and window diagnostics,
passenger compartment diagnos tics. Distance to destination
When guidance is not activated, this
enables an approximate value to be
entered to make all the trip computer
calculations possible.

General menu
Press the
"MENU"button to access
the general menu.
Select the icon ''Trip computer''
using the dial, then validate to
access the ''Trip computer'' menu.
The ''trip computer'' menu offers var

'Trip computer' context menu
The context menu associated with
the "Trip Computer" application
appears as a superimposed display
when the Trip Computer is the appli
cation currently being used in the
main screen window.
Briefly press the continuous applica
tion 'Trip computer' button to select
one of the following functions:

Distance to destination.

ELECTRIC WINDOWS

Manual operation: 
press or pull switch 1, without
going beyond the point of resis
tance. The window stops when
the switch is released.
Automatic operation:  or pull switch 1beyond the point
of resistance. One touch com

Note: the electrical functions of the
electric windows are disarmed one
minute after switching off the
ignition.
Safety autoreverse
When the window rises and meets
an obstacle, it stops and lowers
again.
Note: in the event of ice, if the win
dow does not rise, press the switch
until the window is fully open, then
pull it again until the window closes.
Note: following reconnection of the
battery, if the window does not rise,
release the switch and pull it several
times until the window is fully
closed. Continue to hold the switch
for approximately one second after
the window has closed. Disarming
For the safety of your children, press

5to disarm all of the electrical
controls in the rear:  electric windows,
 sliding side doors,
 sunroofs.

CHANGING A WINDSCREEN
WIPER BLADE
Placing the wiper blades in the
maintenance position Less than a minute after switching
off the ignition, operate the wipers
stalk to position the wiper blades
along the windscreen uprights
(maintenance position).
Changing a front wiper blade  Lift the wiper arm, then disconnect
the windscreenwash pipe.
 Unclip the blade and remove it.
 Fit the new blade.
 Reconnect the windscreenwash
pipe and push back the wiper arm.
To return the windscreen wipers
to their normal position, switch on
the ignition and operate the
wipers stalk.
Changing the rear wiper blade  Lift the wiper arm, then unclip the
blade and remove it.
 Fit the new blade and push back
the wiper arm. ECONOMY MODE FUNCTION
After the engine has stopped, certain
functions (windscreen wiper, electric
windows, sunroof, courtesy lights,
audio equipment etc.) can only be
used for thirty minutes, to prevent
discharging the battery.
After thirty minutes, the message
"Economy mode active"
appears
on the multifunction display and the
active functions are put on standby.
To resume use of these functions,
start the engine and let it run for a
few seconds.
Aflat battery will pre
vent the engine from
starting.

BATTERY
To charge the battery using a battery charger:– Disconnect the battery,
– Follow the instructions for use given by the battery charger man ufacturer,
– Reconnect starting with the negative (–) terminal,
– Check that the terminals and connectors are clean. If they are covered with
sulphate (white or greenish deposit), disconnect them and clean them.
To start the vehicle from another battery: – Connect the red cable to the positive (+) terminals of the tw o batteries,
– Connect one end of the green or black cable to the negat ive (–) terminal of the
slave battery,
– Connect the other end of the green or black cable to an e arth point on the bro
ken down vehicle as far as possible from the battery,
Operate the starter, let the engine run.
Wait for the engine to return to idle, then disconnect th e cables.
It is advisable to disconnect the battery if the vehicle is not to be used for
a period of more than one month.

Before disconnecting
the battery, you must
wait for 2 minutes after
switching off the igni
tion.
Never disconnect a terminal when the engine is running.
Never charge a battery without first disconnecting the terminals.
Close the windows and sun roofs before disconnecting the
battery. If they do not operate
normally following reconnection
of the battery, they must be rein
tialised (see sections "Electric
windows Safety autoreverse"
and "Sunroofs Safety auto
reverse".
After every reconnection of the battery, switch on the ignition
and wait 1 minute before start
ing to allow the electronic sys
tems to be initialised. If slight
difficulties are experienced after
this, please contact a
PEUGEOT dealer.
