''Isofix'' mountings
Available on the two side rear seats, the Isofix mountings allow for fittingof a special child seat for
PEUGEOT vehicles and sold by
PEUGEOT dealers. The locks incorporated in the child seat fit onto the Isofix mountings andensure safe, reliable and fast assem-

the Isofix KIDDY seat. It can be usedin the "rear facing" position when theside seats are recentred from birth to13 kg and in the "forwards facing"position from 9 to 18 kg. In the "forwards facing" position, the front seat must be in the mid-wayposition on the slide, with the seatback upright. The combined use of the Isofix mounting, the restraining cushion
and the seat belt is then compulsory.
The Isofix KIDDY seat can also be installed on a side seat in the 2nd

CHILD SEATS Although one of PEUGEOT's main concerns when designing your vehicle, the safety of your children also depends on you.
For maximum safety, please follow these precautions:
- All children under the age of 10* must travel in a special approved child seat*, adapted to their weight, in a seat fitted with
a seat belt.
- Front passenger seat*: children under the age of 10 must not travel in the "forwards facing" position**. The "rearwards facing" position is permitted. In this position, it is compulsory to disarm the passenger air bag.
After carrying out numerous tests, PEUGEOT recommends the following systems: Up to 18 months (up to 13 kg) "Britax Babysure": installed with its back to the engine in the front or in the rear using a three-point seat belt. In the front, the passenger seat must be in the "mid-way"position on the slide.
From 9 months to 3 or 4 years (9 to 18 kg) "Ršmer Prince": installed in the rear using a three-point seat belt. For the safety of your child, the seat and the restraining cushion must never be separated.

Never leave a child or an animal in a vehicle whichis exposed to the sun andhas the windows closed.
Never leave the keys within reach
of children inside the car. Disarm the passenger air bag when installing a "rearwardsfacing" child seat on the front pas-senger seat. Observe strictly the recommenda- tions for assembling the child seatas shown in the child seat instruc-tions.From 3 to 10 years (15 to 36 kg)
"Recaro start'': installed in the rear with a three-point seat belt. The height and width of the seat back must be adjusted according to the age and build of your child. "Klippan Optima": installed in the rear with a three-point seat belt. From the age of 6 years (approximately 22 kg), the booster is used on its own.
Remember, even for short journeys, to fasten the three-point seat belts or thechild seat straps, keeping the slack in relation to the child's body to a minimum.
To prevent the doors from opening accidentally, use the child-lock. Also, do not open the rear windows more than a third.
* According to current legislation in the country of destination.
** Unless the rear seats are already occupied by other children or the rear seats cannot be used (because they are missing or folded down). In this case, adjust the front passenger seat as far back as possible and leave the air bag active.

3rd row rear seat belts The 3rd row rear seats are fitted with two three-point inertia reel seatbelts.
To put on the seat belt, insert buckle C
then buckle Dinto their respective
stalks.
To remove the seat belt, proceed in
the reverse order, then move buckleD to the location Eprovided.
To be effective, a seat belt must be tightened asclose to the body as pos-sible.
If the seats are fitted with arm-rests, the lap section of the seatbelt must always pass under thearmrest. Do not invert the seat belt buckles as they will not carry out their
function fully. Depending on the nature and the seriousness of the impact, thepre-tensioners may be triggeredbefore and independently of trig-gering of the airbags. In all cases, the airbag warning light comes on. Following a collision, have the system checked by a PEUGEOT
dealer. The system has been designed to be fully operational for ten years.
For greater safety, have it chec- ked by a PEUGEOT dealer afterthis period.
