This indicator light comes on when the trans-
mission is in reverse.

This indicator light comes on when the trans-
mission is in neutral.

Oil temperature warning light “OIL TEMP”
When the oil temperature reaches a specified
level, this light comes on to warn that the en-
gine oil temperature is too hot. If the warning
light comes on during operation, stop the en-
gine as soon as it is safe to do so and allow the
engine to cool down for about 10 minutes.
CAUTION:
●The engine may overheat if the ATV is
overloaded. If this happens, reduce the
load to specification.
●Restart after making sure that the warn-
ing light is out. Continuous use while the
warning light is on may cause damage to
the engine.

2WD/4WD switch is in the 4WD position.
NOTE:
Due to the synchronizing mechanism in the dif-
ferential gear case, the light may not come on
until the ATV starts moving.

On command four-wheel drive switch
“2WD/4WD”
To change from two-wheel drive (2WD) to
four-wheel drive (4WD), stop the ATV and set
the switch to the 4WD position.
To change from four-wheel drive (4WD) to
two-wheel drive (2WD), stop the ATV and set
the switch to the 2WD position.
WARNING
Always stop the ATV before changing from
2WD to 4WD or from 4WD to 2WD. The ATV
handles differently in 2WD than in 4WD in
some circumstances. Changing from 2WD to
4WD or vice-versa while moving may cause
the ATV to unexpectedly handle differently.
This could distract the operator and increase
the risk of losing control and an accident.

Pour passer de la traction sur deux roues (2WD) à la trac-
tion sur quatre roues (4WD), arrêter le véhicule et placer
le contacteur sur “4WD”.
Pour passer de la traction sur quatre roues (4WD) à la
traction sur deux roues (2WD), arrêter le véhicule et pla-
cer le contacteur sur “2WD”.
AVERTISSEMENT
Toujours arrêter le véhicule avant de passer d’un
mode de traction à l’autre. Dans certaines conditions,
le véhicule se conduit de façon différente en mode de
traction “2WD” et “4WD”. Le passage d’un mode de
traction à l’autre lorsque le véhicule est en mouve-
ment risque de modifier brusquement son comporte-
ment. Ceci peut distraire le pilote et entraîner une
perte de contrôle et un accident.

das (2WD) al modo de tracción de cuatro ruedas
(4WD), detenga el ATV y ponga el interruptor en
la posición 4WD.

ruedas (4WD) al modo de tracción de dos ruedas
(2WD), detenga el ATV y ponga el interruptor en
la posición 2WD.
ADVERTENCIA
Siempre detenga el ATV antes de cambiar el
modo de tracción. Dependiendo de las circuns-
tancias, se maneja el ATV diferentemente en
cada modo de tracción. El ATV podría ponerse
en movimiento de modo imprevisto si se cambia
el modo de tracción sin detenerlo. Éso podría
distraer al conductor y causar un accidente.

If your ATV has stalled or stopped and you be-
lieve you can continue up the hill, restart care-
fully to make sure you do not lift the front
wheels which could cause you to lose control.
If you are unable to continue up the hill, dis-
mount the ATV on the uphill side. Physically
turn the ATV around and then descend the hill.
If you start to roll backwards, DO NOT apply ei-
ther brake abruptly. If you are in 2WD, apply
only the front brake. When this ATV is in 4WD,
all wheels (front and rear) are interconnected
by the drive train. This means that applying ei-
ther the front brake or the rear brake will brake
all wheels. When descending hills, using either
brake lever or the brake pedal will brake the
wheels on the downhill side. Avoid sudden ap-
plication of either the front or rear brake be-
cause the wheels on the uphill side could come
off the ground. The ATV could easily tip over
backwards. Apply both the front and rear
brakes gradually, or dismount the ATV imme-
di-ately on the uphill side.

Si le VTT a calé ou si il s’est arrêté et que l’on juge pou-
voir atteindre le sommet de la côte, redémarrer prudem-
ment afin que les roues avant ne se soulèvent pas, car cela
entraînerait une perte de contrôle du véhicule. S’il est im-
possible de continuer l’ascension, descendre du VTT.
Tourner le VTT en le poussant, puis redescendre la colli-
ne.
Si le véhicule se met à reculer, NE PAS actionner le frein
arrière brusquement. En mode de traction 2WD, n’utili-
ser que le frein avant. Lorsque ce VTT est en mode de
traction 4WD, le train de transmission rend les quatre
roues solidaires. Chaque frein, avant ou arrière, agit donc
simultanément sur les quatre roues. Dans une descente, le
levier et la pédale de frein agissent toujours sur les roues
situées du côté aval. Que l’on utilise le frein avant ou ar-
rière, il faut donc éviter les freinages brusques, car les
roues situées du côté amont risqueraient de quitter le sol.
Le VTT risquerait de basculer en arrière. Actionner les
freins avant et arrière progressivement ou descendre im-
médiatement du VTT du côté amont.Si se ha calado o parado el ATV y cree que puede
continuar subiendo la pendiente, arranque de
nuevo con sumo cuidado para que las ruedas de-
lanteras no se levanten del suelo y le hagan per-
der el control. Si es incapaz de continuar,
desmonte del ATV por el lado de subida de la

Si el vehículo se pone a retroceder, NO aplique el
freno delantero o el freno trasero con brusque-
dad. En el modo de tracción 2WD, sólo aplique el
freno delantero. En el modo de tracción 4WD, to-
das la ruedas del ATV están conectadas. Eso sig-
nifica que todas las ruedas frenan cuando se
aplica el freno delantero o el freno trasero. Du-
rante el descenso de una pendiente, todos los
frenos frenan las ruedas en el lado descendente.
Evite aplicar los frenos con brusquedad porque
pordrían levantarse del suelo las ruedas en el
lado ascendente. El ATV podría dar fácilmente
una vuelta de campana hacia atrás. Aplique los
frenos delantero y trasero gradualmente o baje
del ATV por el lado ascendente de la pendiente.

WARNING
Use proper gear and maintain steady speed
when climbing a hill.
If you lose all forward speed:
●Keep weight uphill.
●Apply the brakes.
●Lock parking brake, after you are
stopped.
If you begin rolling backwards:
●Keep weight uphill.
●2WD: Never apply the rear brake while
rolling backwards. Apply the front brake.
4WD: Apply both front and rear brakes
gradually.
When fully stopped, lock the parking
brake.
Dismount on uphill side or to a side if pointed
straight uphill. Turn the ATV around and re-
mount, following the procedure described in
the Owner’s Manual.
