If the TA traffic p rog ramme is selec ted , only stations b road c asting this typ e of p rog ramme are selec ted .
Searc hing for a station oc c urs first in "LO"sensitivity (selec tion of the most p owerful transmitters, while sc anning the
waveb and , then in "DX"sensitivity (selec tion of weaker and more d istant transmitters).
Manual station search
Press the ÒMANÓb utton.
Briefly p ress b utton ÒJÓor ÒKÓ resp ec tively to inc rease or red uc e the freq uenc y d isp layed .
By c ontinuing to p ress the b utton in the d irec tion selec ted , you will ob tain c ontinuous sc rolling of the freq uenc y.
Sc rolling stop s as soon as you release the b utton.
Pressing the ÒMANÓb utton ag ain returns you to automatic station searc h.
CASSETTE Selecting cassette mode
When a c assette is inserted , the c assette p layer will start automatic ally.
If a c assette is alread y inserted , p ress the "SRC"b utton until the c assette is selec ted .
Ejecting the cassette
Fully p ress b oth b uttons "E"and "F"to ejec t the c assette from the p layer.
Direction of play
The p layer will p lay sid es 1 and 2 of the c assette alternately, b y automatic ally reversing the d irec tion of p lay at the end
of a sid e.
To manually reverse the d irec tion of p lay, p ress b oth b uttons "E"and "F" p art way.
Fast forward/rewind
Fully p ress one of the b uttons "E"or "F" to fast forward or fast rewind the c assette. At the end of the fast forward rewind ,
the set p lays the c urrent sid e.Note: During fast forwards or rewind of a cassette, the audio system will automatically play the last radio station. General precautions for use: - Use good quality cassettes
- Avoid the use of cassettes exceeding 90 minutes- Never expose cassettes to heat or direct sunlight- Return cassettes to their box immediately after use to protect them from dust and to avoid accidental unwinding of the
tape
- After prolonged use of the cassette player, build-up on the head of the player can cause reduced reproduction of the treble, or even the total failure of one or both tracks. To solve this, use a cleaning cassette that plays like an ordinary cassette (approximately every 50 hours).
