Using the horn, the system will g ive you an aud ib le sig nal when the
d oors loc k and unloc k. If d esired , you may turn the aud ib le sig nal off.
To turn the aud ib le sig nal off, simultaneously d ep r ess “LOCK/ARM ”
and “UNLOCK/DISARM ” b uttons for more than two sec ond s. The horn
will sound two times to inform you that the aud ib le sig nal has b een
turned off.

CAUTION
Do not let dust, oil or water get on or in the transmitter when
replacing the battery.
When the transmitter b attery b eg ins to g et weak, tr ansmitter rang e will
b eg in to d ec rease and the LED will not illuminate. Rep lac e the b attery
as soon as p ossib le.

Turn signal indicator lights
These lig hts show the op eration of the turn sig nal or lane c hang e sig nal.
If the ind ic ator lig hts d o not b link or b link rap id ly, the turn sig nal b ulb
may b e b urned out. Rep lac e the b ulb as soon as p oss ib le. Refer to the
“ Rep lac ing b ulb s ” sec tion in c hap ter 11.
High beam indicator light
This lig ht shows that the head lig hts are in the hig h b eam mod e.
This ind ic ator lig ht also c omes on when op erating h ead lig ht flasher.

To set the time, turn the setting knob c loc kwise to ad vanc e and c ounter-
c loc kwise to retard the time. Time c an b e set only when the ig nition
switc h is in the “ON ” p osition.

To ac tivate the rig ht turn sig nal, p ush the turn si g nal lever up . To ac tivate
the left turn sig nal, p ush the turn sig nal lever d o wn. When the turn is fin-
ished , the lever will return automatic ally. If the lever d oes not return after
c ornering , return the lever to the neutral p osition b y hand .
To sig nal a lane c hang e, p ush the turn sig nal lever up or d own slig htly
and hold it d uring the lane c hang e. The turn sig nal ind ic ator lig hts will
flash in the d irec tion of the turn or lane c hang e. The lever will return auto-
matic ally to the neutral p osition when you release it.

3. Remove the b ulb from the head lig ht assemb ly.
4. Install the new b ulb .
5. Install the b ulb hold er in the head lig ht assemb ly b y turning it c loc k-
wise until it loc ks.
6. Remove the elec tric al c onnec tor.
