Filling Your Tank
CAUTION:
Gasoline vapor is highly flammable. It burns
violently, and that can cause very bad injuries.
Don't smoke if you're near gasoline or refueling
your vehicle. Keep sparks, flames and smoking
materials away from gasoline.
The tethered cap is located behind a hinged door on the
driver's side of your vehicle.
The button for the fuel door
is located on the instrument
panel, to the left of the
steering column.
If your fuel filler door release won't operate, there is a
manual release tab. The tab is located in the trunk,
against the trim on the driver's side of the vehicle.

NOTICE:
Prying on a locked fuel filler door can damage it.
Use the remote fuel door manual release located
in the trunk to release the door. While refueling, let the cap hang by the tether below the
fuel fill opening.
To remove the cap, turn it slowly to the left
(counterclockwise). The cap has a spring in it; if you let
go of the cap too soon, it will spring back to the right.
