DRIVETRAIN
The SVT Contour uses the MTX-75 5±speed manual transaxle with a
short-throw shifter. This includes a shift-link design that offers smooth
and accurate shifting. The clutch is a high performance special design.
All transaxle gears and shafts run in needle bearings to reduce drivetrain
friction.
