plow with your vehicle until it has
been driven at least 800 km (500
miles).
Installing snowplow
Read the following instructions
before installing a snowplow:
²Front GAWR must not exceed
63% of the GVW. Add ballast
weight to the back of the
vehicle, if necessary. Refer to
the Safety Compliance
Certification Label to find Front
GAWR.
²The Front Axle Accessory
Reserve Capacity and the Total
Accessory Reserve Capacity
listed on the bottom right of the
Safety Compliance Certification
Label will determine whether or
not the addition of a snowplow
will overload your vehicle.
²The weight of the snowplow and

4. Check the fluid level in the
reservoir. It should be between the
MIN and MAX lines. Do not add
fluid if the level is in this range.
5. If the fluid is low, add fluid in
small amounts, continuously
checking the level until it reaches
the range between the MIN and
MAX lines. Be sure to put the cap
back on the reservoir.
TRANSMISSION FLUID
Checking and adding automatic

Follow the scheduled service
intervals outlined in the ªService

of fluid used is normally indicated
on the dipstick and/or dipstick

Your vehicle's rear axle is equipped
with synthetic rear axle lubricant.
Rear axles containing synthetic
lubricant are lubricated for life.
These lubricants do not need to be
checked or changed unless a leak
is suspected, service required or
the axle assembly has been
submerged in water. The axle
lubricant should be changed any
time the rear axle has been
submerged in water.
