To remove-.the.child restraint, just unbuckle the vehicle%

belt and let it go back. all the way. The safety belt
will
move. free1y;again and be ready towork.for an adult
or larger child passenger.

right front paisenger 's. air bag when y~u fernow the;
rear-facing child-res$ainrt from. the-vehkie.
To turn the air bag .on. again, insert your ignition key
into the switch., push in, and muve the switch SO the
ON position.

Children who have outgrown ChirCSrestraints should
wear the vehicle’s safety beits.
Children who aren’t buckled up can be thrown out in
a crash.

AIR BAG OFF Light
When you turn the right front passenger’s air bag off,
this light will came on and stay on to remind you that
the air bag has been turned off. This light will go off
when you turn the air bag back on again. See “Securing
a Chi1.d Restraint in the Right Front Seat Position” in
the Index fur more QD this, including important
safety information.
If the right front passenger’s air bag- is turned
off, an adult or a child who is no longer an infant
won’t have the extra protection of an air bag. In
~ sitting in the right front passenger’s position
’ a crash, the air bag wouldn’t be able to inflate
’ and help protect the person sitting there. Make
sure the air bag is turned on unless you are using-
.a rearfacing child restraint in the right front
seat position.
