of playing 12 cmor8 cm discs, without an
adapter. The player operates when the power is
on and a disc is inserted (label side up). Handle
the disc by its edge only. (Be sure to read and

circuitry to protect the laser diode. If
the temperature of the player reaches
167ÊF (75ÊC), theheat detection circuit
will shut off the player and ªTOO
HOTº will scroll in the display for
approximately five seconds (radio will
resume playing). When the temperature
returns to normal operating range, the
CD player will again be operational.

When a disc is loaded, the unit automatically
enters the play mode and the play indicator (

illuminates. To stop temporarily, press the
ªPLAY/STOPº button or the ªAM/FMº button.

X) in the display illuminates
and operation returns to the radio mode. To
resume CD play, press the ªPLAY/STOPº
button once again.

If the engine cranks but does not start or does
not start even after a small collision, the fuel
pump shut-off switch may have been activated.
The shut-off switch is a device intended to stop
the fuel pump when your vehicle has been
involved in a substantial jolt. Refer to the
Roadside Emergencieschapter.

chosen.

stop/turn circuit will operate one combination
stop/turn light bulb (# 1157, 3157, 2357, or 3357)
on the trailer. Never add more than one trailer
light bulb to one circuit.

the specified amperage rating. Using a

tow a trailer. Never drive faster than 45 mph
(70 km/h) when you tow in hilly country on
