Notes: - Using transmission hoist, lift up final drive until both drive axles can be
flanged on.
- Lightly tighten drive axle securing bolts.
- Lift final drive and bolt to crossmember and final drive mount.

Repair Manual, Engine Mechanical, Repair Group 26; removing and
installing exhaust system To prevent imbalance, driveshaft flanges -A- and rear final drive
flanges -B- must be installed so that the color markings are aligned
(arrows). After disconnecting driveshaft from rear final drive, an additional
balance washer (thick washer) that may be located between shim and
bolt head may not be reinstalled. Replace driveshaft bolts (self-locking).
