This light also should come on when you start your engine, as\
a check. If it
doesn’t, have it fixed
so it will be there to let you know if you ever do get
water in your fuel.
If the light comes on at any other time, use this chart.

PROBLEM

Drain water from fuel filter.

water can be drained
- water may be
frozen. Open air bleed
to check for
fuel pressure.
If no fuel pressure
replace filter.
Fuel tank purging required. See your
dealer for assistance.

or contaminated fuel.

to be changed if this happens. See your dealer

f you drive when this warning light is on, you can damage your fuel I
njection system and your engine. If the light comes on right after you
efuel,
it means water was pumped into your fuel tank. Turn off your
mgine immediately. Then, have the water drained at once.

To drain water:
1. Remove the fuel tank cap.
2. Connect a hose going from the water drain valve to a fuel-resistant
container.

To Check Coolant: When your engine is cold, the coolant level should be at
COLD, or a little higher. When your engine is warm, the level should be up
to HOT, or a little higher.

If this light comes on, it means you're low on engine coolant.
To Add Coolant: If you need more coolant, add the proper mix at the
coolant recovery tank.

Accelerator cables and cruise control cables should not be lubr\
icated. Any
cables that are worn or are hard to pull should be replaced. \
Remove external deposits from injector pump face cam on 6.2L d\
iesel
engines, when the engine is cold.

Normal use of your vehicle will cause metal to metal wear at some points on
the cab and body
if they are not lubricated.
For exposed surfaces, such as door checks, door lock bolts, lo\
ck striker
plates, dovetail bumper wedges, etc., a thin film of engine oil should be
applied.
The seat adjusters and seat track should be lubricated with chassis grease.
Door weather strips and rubber hood bumpers should be lightly coated with a
rubber lubricant.
Never use too much of any lubricant and be sure to wipe up any extra
lubricant when you are finished.
Your maintenance schedule
will tell you how often to lubricate these Ilems.
