rn Vehicle Identification
Number
This is the legal identifier for your Geo.
It appears
on a plate in the front corner
of the instrument panel, on the driver’s
side, You can see it
if you look through
the windshield from outside your
vehicle. The VIN also appears on the
Vehicle Certification and Service Parts
labels and the certificates
of title and
registration.
Engine Identification
The eighth character in your VIN is the
engine code for your
1993 GM engine.
This code will help you identify your
engine, specifications, and replacement
parts
in this section.

Be sure that this label is not removed
from the vehicle.

I Fuses and Circuit
Breakers
The wiring circuits in your car are
protected from short circuits
by fuses,
circuit breakers
or a thermal link in the
wiring itself. This greatly reduces
the
chance of fires caused by electrical
problems.
The main fuse
box in your engine
compartment
on the right side. It
protects all electrical loads. For
access to the main fuses, pull off
cover.
A spare fuse is also inside the
fuse box. Another fuse
box is under
the left side
of the instrument panel. The fuses here
protect each separate circuit including
headlights.
If you have electrical failure,
check here first.

Customer Satisfaction
Procedure
Your satisfaction and goodwill are
important to your dealer and
Chevrolet/Geo. Normally, any problems
with
the sales transaction or the
operation of your vehicle will be
resolved by your dealer’s Sales or
Service Departments. Sometimes,
however, despite the best intentions of
all concerned, misunderstandings can
occur. If your concern has not been
resolved to your satisfaction, the
following steps should be taken:
STEP ONE - Discuss your problem
with a member of dealership
management. Complaints can often be
quickly resolved at that level.
If the matter has already been reviewed with
the Sales, Service, or Parts Manager,
contact
the owner of the dealership or
the General Manager.
STEP TWO - If after contacting a
member of Dealership Management, it
appears your problem cannot be
resolved by the dealership without
further help, contact the Chevrolet/Geo
Customer Assistance Center by calling
1-800-222-1020. In Canada, contact GM
of Canada Customer Assistance Center
in Oshawa by calling 1-800-263-3777
(English) or 1-800-263-7854 (French).
In Mexico, call 254-1 7-86, In Puerto
Rico or
U.S. Virgin Islands, call
1-809-763-13 15. In all other overseas
locations, contact GM International
