If
the
engine
does
not
run
due

faulty
ignition
system
check
the
igni
tion
system
as
follows

a
cracked
distributor
rotor
or
cap
and
corroded
tenninals
Visually
inspect
high
tension
wires
for
condition
and
if
necessary
use
an
ignition
oscilloscope
or
a
circuit
tester
to
make
performance
checks
Check
spark
plugs
and
adjust
gaps
as
neces
sary
Replace
a
spark
plug
which
is
not
suitable
for
further
use
If
the
above
checks
cannot
correct
the
problem
check
the
entire
ignition
system
with
an

or
a
