Opening the Hood:
•Pull the Hood Release Lever C to unlatch the Hood
•In the front of the vehicle, lift the Hood slightly, pull the secondary Latch D to the left inside of the Hood’s center and lift the Hood
Closing the Hood:
•First, return the support rod to its clip
•Lower the Hood until it ’s about 12 inches away from being closed, and let it drop Then, press down to ensure it ’s securely locked in place
REMINDERS:
•While lowering and closing, keep hands away from under the Hood
•
Open the Hood only after turning the engine off, on a flat sur face, with the gear shift in the P (Park) position and set ting the parking brake
