.Press or pull and holdD(1)
to open or close without
express. Release
D(1) at the
desired position.
Sunroof Vent Operation:
.Press and releaseE(2) to
vent the sunroof.
.Pull and releaseE(2) to
close the sunroof vent.
This sunroof also has a
sunshade, which must be
opened and closed manually.
Automatic Reversal
System
The sunroof, if equipped, has
an automatic reversal system
that is only active when the
sunroof is operated in
express-close mode.
If an object is in the path while
express-closing, the reversal
system will detect an object,
stop, and open the sunroof
slightly. If this condition occurs,
attempt to remove the object,
then pull and release the
switch to express close. If the
reversal occurs multiple times,
the DIC message OPEN THEN
CLOSE SUNROOF will display,
and express is disabled. To
operate sunroof while express
is disabled, the switch must be
either pressed or pulled
and held.
Dirt and debris may collect on
the sunroof seal or in the
track. This could cause an
issue with sunroof operation
or noise. It could also plug thewater drainage system.
Periodically open the sunroof
and remove any obstacles or
loose debris. Wipe the sunroof
seal and roof sealing area
using a clean cloth, mild soap,
and water. Do not remove
grease from the sunroof.

The automatic engine Stop/
Start feature can be disabled
and enabled by pressing
h.
Auto Stop/Start is enabled
each time you start the
vehicle.
When the
hindicator is
illuminated, the system is
enabled.
Engine Heater
Vehicles with the engine
heater can use this option in
cold weather conditions at or
below −18 °C (0 °F) for easier
starting and better fuel
economy during engine
warm-up. Plug in the engine
heater at least four hours
before starting your vehicle.
An internal thermostat in the
plug-end of the cord may exist
which will prevent engine
heater operation at
temperatures above
−18 °C (0 °F).
To Use the Engine Heater
1. Turn off the engine.
Check the heater cord for
damage. If it is damaged,
do not use it. See your
dealer for a replacement.
Inspect the cord for
damage yearly.
2. Plug the heater cord intothe connector in the front
license plate bracket.
3. Plug it into a normal, grounded 110-volt AC
outlet.
{Warning
Improper use of the heater
cord or an extension cord
can damage the cord and
may result in overheating
and fire.
.Plug the cord into a
three-prong electrical
utility receptacle that is
protected by a ground
fault detection function.
An ungrounded outlet
could cause an electric
shock.
.Use a weatherproof,
heavy-duty, 15 amp-rated
extension cord if needed.
Failure to use the
recommended extension
cord in good operating
condition, or using a
damaged heater or
extension cord, could
make it overheat and
