Auxiliary DC jack

b attery may d ischarge.This vehicle is equipped with an auxil-
iary DC jack located within storage
compartment A.
A 12-V accessory connected to the
auxiliary DC jack can be used when the
main switch is in the “ON” position and
should only be used when the engine is
running.
To use the auxiliary DC jack
1. Open storage compartment A. (See page 3-9.) 2. Turn the main switch off.
3. Remove the auxiliary DC jack cap.
4. Turn the accessory off.
5. Insert the accessory plug into the
auxiliary DC jack.
6. Turn the main switch on, and then start the engine. (See page 7-2.) 7. Turn the accessory on.

If a fuse is blown, replace it as follows. 1. Turn off the electrical circuit in question, and then turn off the
main switch.
2. Remove the panel A. (See page 8-8.) 3. Remove the blown fuse, and then
install a new fuse of the specified
