side while driving, you could lose control of

being made. #
Only use the memory function on the
driver's side when theve hicle is station-

adjusting the seat with the memory func-
tion
When the memory function adjusts the seat,
yo u and other vehicle occupants – particular ly
ch ildren – could become trapped. #
During the adjusting process of the
memory function, ensure that no body parts are in
the area of mo vement of the
seat or the steering wheel. #
If someone becomes trapped, press a
preset position button or seat adjust-
ment switch immediatel y.

Seat adjustments for up tothre e people can be
stored and called up using the memory function. Yo
u can sa vethefo llowing settings forth e front
seat:
R Seat, backrest, head restraint position and
contour of the seat backrest in the lumbar
re gion
R Seat heating: distribution of the heated sec-
tions of the seat cushion and seat backrest
R Driver's side: steering wheel position and posi-
tion of the outside mir rors on the driver's and
front passenger sides

ing adjustment of the driver's seat aTer
calling up a driver pro/le
Selecting a user pro/le may trigger an adjust-
ment of the driver's seat tothe position sa ved under
the user pro/le. You or other vehicle
occupants could be injured in the process. #
Make sure that when the position of the
driver's seat is being adjus ted via the
multimedia system, no people or body
parts are in the seat's range of mo ve-
ment.
If th ere is a risk of someone becoming trap-
ped, stop the adjustment process immedi-
atel y: #
a)Tapth ewa rning message onthe cen-
tral displa y.

b) Press a memory function position but-
ton or a seat adjustment switch on the
driver's door.
The adjustment process will be stopped. The driver's seat is equipped with an access pre-

if no user pro/le has been selected, the data
described in thefo llowing section will be
sa ved in theve hicle as the standard setting.
St andard settings can be changed byallvehi-
cle users.
User pro/les sa vepersonal settings. If theve hicle
is used byseveral people, a person can change
th eir pro/le settings without changing the settings
of other users.
Yo u can individualise a user pro/le in theve hicle
using the set-up assistant or using the settings in
yo ur user pro/le. Some settings, e.g. the
Mercedes me PIN and a pro/le pho toare made in
th e Mercedes me app or in the Mercedes me Por-
