DISTRONIC Active Distance Assist maintains the
set speed when driving freel y.Ifve hicles are
de tected ahead, the set distance is maintained, if
necessary until theve hicle comes toa standstill.
The vehicle accelerates or brakes depending on
th e distance totheve hicle in front and the set
speed. The speed (in thera nge between 20 km/h
and 210 km/h) and the distance totheve hicle in
front are set and sa ved on the steering wheel.

The risk of aquaplaning is increased on wet

tread across the entire width of all tyres.
