Power Sliding Doors
Using the driver ’s panel controls, press the left/right Power Sliding Door buttons A, on the driver ’s panel controls, on the center pillars B or on the key fob C to automatically open/close the sliding doors.
REMINDER: If the POWER DOOR OFF but ton F is depressed, the Smar t Power Liftgate* will not operate.
Smart Key Auto Open/Close*: To automatically open and close the Power Liftgate / Sliding Doors, press and hold buttons D (close) and E (open) for more than 3 seconds.
Power Door OFF Button: When button F is ON (not depressed), the power sliding doors and power liftgate can be controlled with the buttons on the center pillar trim B or liftgate. Also, the doors will open/close automatically when pulling the handles from the inside or outside.
Smart Sliding Door with Auto Open
The sliding doors can be opened hands-free if the Smart Key is detected within the system range. The hazard warning lights will flash and a chime will sound two times and the door nearest the Smart Key will open. To activate the Smart Sliding Door with Auto Open, on some models, go the User Settings in
the Instrument Cluster and select Smart Liftgate. On other models, press the SETUP key on the audio head unit. Then press VEHICLE, DOOR and SMART SLIDING DOOR.
Passenger View* / Passenger Talk*
Passenger View, an in-cabin camera, helps the front passenger talk with rear passengers while viewing them on the audio head unit screen. On the head unit screen, press the Passenger View icon G.
Passenger Talk: Press the button H located on the overhead console to use the Passenger Talk, cabin intercom, function.
REMINDER: The system will not operate when the Smar t Key is detected continuously near the vehicle after the doors are locked, or when a door is not locked or closed.

Automatic turn off function*
The interior lights automatically turn off approximately 30 seconds after the Engine Start/Stop button is OFF.
Map/Room Lamp Operation
Press the buttons A to turn the Map Lamps ON/OFF. This light produces a spot beam for convenient use as a map lamp or as a personal lamp for the driver or the front passenger.
When the button C is pressed, the following occurs:
•When any door or the liftgate is opened, the Map and Room Lamps turn ON
•When doors are unlocked from the Smart Key or key removed from ignition, the Map and Room Lamps turn ON for approximately 30 seconds or until a door is opened
•When doors are closed, the lamps will gradually turn OFF after approximately 30 seconds
•When all doors are locked or the ignition is turned ON, the Map Lamp will turn OFF immediately
When the button B is pressed, the lamps stay ON continuously.
Room Lamp – Press the lens D to turn the Room Lamp ON/OFF.

Use the Sunvisor to shield direct light through the front or side windows. Slide the Sunvisor out and adjust as needed.

Sunroof Operation
The Sunroof and Sunshade operation is controlled through a multidirectional switch/lever. The ignition needs to be in the ON position to operate the Sunroof/Sunshade.
The front and rear Sunroof/Sunshade are operated from separate controls.
Front Sunshade and Sunroof Controls:
Auto Open: Slide lever A backward to the farthest position and release.
Auto Close (Sunroof only): Slide the lever A forward to the farthest position and release.
Slide the Sunroof (with Sunshade open):
Open: Press the Sunroof lever A backward and press again forward/backward until you reach the desired detent position (manual slide feature).
Close: Press the Sunroof lever A forward and press again forward/backward until you reach the desired detent position (manual slide feature)
Tilt the Sunroof:
To raise, push the lever A upward; to lower, push the lever A forward.
Rear Sunshade and Sunroof Controls:

Rear View Monitor is a supplemental system that displays the view behind the vehicle through the audio control head unit screens while the vehicle is in Reverse.
Rear View Monitor activates when the:

Forward*/Reverse Parking Distance Warning (PDW)†6
Forward/Reverse Parking Distance Warning (PDW) is a supplemental system that is designed to assist the driver by chiming if any object is detected within the sensing area to the front, rear and side of the vehicle when moving forward or backing up.
To activate PDW, press button A (LED illuminated). PDW is also activated when the ignition is ON and the gear shift is moved into R (Reverse). To deactivate PDW, press Reverse/Parking Safety A (LED not illuminated).
REMINDERS:
•
If the vehicle is moving at speeds over 6 mph, PDW may not activate correctly
•
When more than t wo objects are sensed at the same time, the closest one will be recognized first

2. In the front of the vehicle, lift the Hood slightly, push the secondary Latch B to the left inside of the Hood’s center and lift the Hood
3. Pull out the support rod from the Hood and set into place to hold the Hood open
REMINDER: Open the Hood only after turning the engine off, on a flat sur face, with the gear shift in P (Park) position and set ting the parking brake.
Fuel Filler Lid Release
To open the Fuel Filler lid:
1. Ensure Driver ’s door is unlocked. Then press the right center edge of the Fuel Filler lid C
2. Pull the Fuel Filler lid out to fully open D
To open the Fuel Cap, turn it counterclockwise E.
REMINDERS:
•The fuel filler lid will unlock when Driver ’s door is unlocked
•To unlock fuel filler lid:
-Press the unlock but ton on your smar t key
-Press the Central Door unlock but ton on armrest trim of driver ’s door
-Pull the driver ’s inside door handle out ward
-The fuel filler lid will lock when all doors are locked
•To lock fuel filler lid:
-Press the lock but ton on your smar t key
-Press the Central Door lock but ton on armrest trim of driver ’s door
-All doors and fuel filler lid will automatically lock after the vehicle speed exceeds 9 mph

How to Sync Transmitter with HomeLink®*
If programming for the first time, begin with Step 1 (repeating this step will delete all information).
To program non-rolling and rolling code garage door openers and other devices:
1. Press and hold the left A and center C buttons simultaneously until the indicator light G begins to flash (to reprogram buttons, skip this step)
2. Press and hold the desired button A B C and hold the button on the transmitter while it is approximately 1 to 3 inches away from the mirror. The HomeLink®

To finish programming rolling code garage door openers, complete these steps:
