Push the lever away from you toswitch the high beam on.

Why is there condensation in theheadlamps?
Headlamps have vents toaccommodate normal changes in airpressure. Condensation can be anatural by-product of this design.When moist air enters the lampassembly through the vents, there is apossibility that condensation canoccur when the temperature is cold.When normal condensation occurs, afine mist can form on the interior of thelens. The fine mist eventually clearsand exits through the vents duringnormal operation.
How much condensation isacceptable?
The presence of a fine mist, forexample no streaks, drip marks orlarge droplets. A fine mist covers lessthan 50% of the lens.

AUTO-DIMMING INTERIOR
MIRROR (IF EQUIPPED)
WHAT IS THE AUTO-DIMMINGINTERIOR MIRROR
The mirror dims to reduce the effect ofbright light from behind. It returns tonormal when the bright light from behindis no longer present or if you shift intoreverse (R), to make sure you have a clearview when backing up.
AUTO-DIMMING INTERIORMIRROR LIMITATIONS
Do not block the sensors on the front andback of the mirror.
Note:A rear center passenger or raised rearcenter head restraint could prevent lightfrom reaching the sensor.

To adjust your mirrors, switch your vehicleon, with the ignition in accessory mode orthe engine running.
1.Select the mirror you want to adjust.The control light turns on.
2.Use the adjustment control to adjustthe position of the mirror.
3.Press the mirror control again. Thecontrol light turns off.
FOLDING THE EXTERIOR
MIRRORS
Push the mirror toward the door windowglass. Make sure that you fully engage themirror in its support when returning it to itsoriginal position.

Directing Air to the Footwell AirVents

CLIMATE CONTROL HINTS
General Hints
•Prolonged use of recirculated air maycause the windows to fog up.
•You may feel a small amount of airfrom the footwell air vents regardlessof the air distribution setting.
•To reduce humidity build-up inside yourvehicle, do not drive with the systemswitched off or with recirculated airalways switched on.
•Do not place objects under the frontseats as this may interfere with theairflow to the rear seats.
•Remove any snow, ice or leaves fromthe air intake area at the base of thewindshield.
•To improve the time to reach acomfortable temperature in hotweather, drive with the windows openuntil you feel cold air through the airvents.
Quickly Heating the Interior
1.Adjust the blower motor speed to thehighest speed setting.
2.Adjust the temperature control to thehighest setting.
3.Direct air to the footwell air vents.
Recommended Settings forHeating
1.Adjust the blower motor speed to thecenter setting.

For vehicles with tilting head restraints:
1.Adjust the seat backrest to an uprightdriving or riding position.
2.Pivot the head restraint forward towardyour head to the preferred position.
After the head restraint reaches theforward-most tilt position, pivot it forwardagain to release it to the rearward, untiltedposition.
Note:Do not attempt to force the headrestraint backward after it is tilted. Instead,continue tilting it forward until the headrestraint releases to the upright position.
REMOVING THE HEAD RESTRAINT
1.Pull up the head restraint until itreaches the highest adjustmentposition.
2.Press and hold the button.
3.Pull up the head restraint.
Note:You cannot remove head restraintsthat have audio system speakers.
INSTALLING THE HEADRESTRAINT
Align the steel stems into the guide sleevesand push the head restraint down until itlocks.
MOVING THE SEAT BACKWARDAND FORWARD
WARNING: Make sure the seat fullylocks into place by rocking it backwardand forward. Not securing the seat intothe locked position can be dangerous ina crash and could cause serious personalinjury or death.

WARNING: The head restraint is asafety device. Whenever possible itshould be installed and properlyadjusted when the seat is occupied.Failure to adjust the head restraintproperly could reduce its effectivenessduring certain impacts.
WARNING: Adjust the headrestraints for all passengers before youdrive your vehicle. This will help minimizethe risk of neck injury in the event of acrash. Do not adjust the head restraintswhen your vehicle is moving.
To raise the head restraint, pull the headrestraint up.
To lower the head restraint:
1.Press and hold the adjust and releasebutton.
2.Push the head restraint down.
To tilt the head restraint:
1.Adjust the seat backrest to an uprightdriving or riding position.

When you start the engine, it remainsrunning until you press the push buttonignition switch, even if your vehicle doesnot detect a valid passive key. If you openand close a door when the engine isrunning, the system searches for a validpassive key.
ENGINE BLOCK HEATER (IF
EQUIPPED)
ENGINE BLOCK HEATERPRECAUTIONS
WARNING: Failure to follow engineblock heater instructions could result inproperty damage or serious personalinjury.
WARNING: Do not use your heaterwith ungrounded electrical systems ortwo-pronged adapters. There is a risk ofelectrical shock.
WARNING: Do not fully close thehood, or allow it to drop under its ownweight when using the engine blockheater. This could damage the powercable and may cause an electrical shortresulting in fire, injury and propertydamage.
We recommend that you do the followingfor a safe and correct operation:
•Use a 16-gauge outdoor extension cordthat is product certified byUnderwriter’s Laboratory (UL) orCanadian Standards Association(CSA). This extension cord must besuitable for use outdoors, in cold
temperatures, and be clearly markedSuitable for Use with OutdoorAppliances. Do not use an indoorextension cord outdoors. This couldresult in an electric shock or become afire hazard.
•Use as short an extension cord aspossible.
•Do not use multiple extension cords.
•Make sure that when in operation, theextension cord plug and heater cordplug connections are free and clear ofwater. This could cause an electricshock or fire.
•If the block heater cord is under thehood, do not remove the wiring fromits original location. Do not close thehood on the extension wiring.
•Make sure your vehicle is parked in aclean area, clear of combustibles.
•Make sure the heater, heater cord andextension cord are firmly connected.
•Check for heat anywhere in theelectrical hookup once the system hasbeen operating for about 30 minutes.
•Make sure the system is unplugged andproperly stowed before starting anddriving your vehicle. Make sure theprotective cover seals the prongs of theblock heater cord plug when not in use.
•Make sure the heater system ischecked for proper operation beforewinter.
HOW DOES THE ENGINE BLOCKHEATER WORK
The engine block heater warms the enginecoolant. This allows the climate controlsystem to quickly respond. The equipmentincludes a heater element installed in theengine block and a wire harness. You canconnect the system to a grounded220-240 volt AC electrical source.
