Deceleration and recuperative
braking
Deceleration
The degree of the deceleration depends on the
selector lever position, the energy recovery setting and the driving situation.
Depending on the degree of the deceleration, the brake lights will come on without steppingon the brake pedal.
The deceleration very fast in selector lever po

Harder vehicle deceleration
In certain situations, it can be necessary to
bring the vehicle to a halt more quickly than with automatic brake actuation.
To do this, quickly apply extra force to the
brake. For a brief period, the brake pressure
will be higher than the brake pressure that is
achieved by the automatic braking function.
Automatic brake actuation is interrupted.
Canceling automatic braking
It can be necessary to interrupt automatic braking in certain situations, for instance for anevasive maneuver.
