Automatically folding door mirrors *The door mirrors can be automatically folded when driving or parking in tight spaces.
1. Press the L and R buttons at the same
time.
2. Release the buttons after about 1 second. The mirrors will automatically stop when they are completely folded in.
Open the mirrors by pressing L and R at the
same time. The mirrors will automatically stopwhen they reach the last-used setting.
Resetting the mirrors' positionA mirror that has been moved out of positionmanually (e.g. hit or bumped into) must beelectrically returned to its original position for automatic folding * to function properly.
1. Fold in the mirrors by pressing the L and R
buttons at the same time.
2. Open them again by pressing the L and R
buttons at the same time.
3. Repeat the above procedure as needed. The mirrors return to their original positions.
Tilting when parking 3The door mirrors can be tilted down to help give the driver a better view along the sides ofthe vehicle, e.g. of the curb when parking.
–Select reverse gear and press the
L or R
mirror button.
Please note that the button may need to be pressed twice depending on settings. Whenthe door mirror is tilted down, the light in thebutton will flash. When reverse gear isengaged, the door mirrors will automaticallystart to move after 3 seconds and will reachtheir original position after about 8 seconds.
Automatically tilting when parking 3With this setting, the door mirrors will auto-matically tilt down when reverse gear isengaged. The folded position is preset andcannot be adjusted. 1.

Automatic folding when the vehicle is locked *
In the center display, you can set the door mir- rors to retract/extend automatically when thevehicle is locked/unlocked with the key. 1.

NOTE
If the door mirrors are folded in manually using the L and R buttons and then the
vehicle is locked, the mirrors will not auto-matically fold out when the vehicle isunlocked, even if this preference has beenset. In this case, the mirrors must be foldedout manually.

Move the lever downward for an extra wiper sweep. Turn the thumb wheel upward for increased sensitivity and downward for decreased sensi-tivity. The wipers will make one extra sweepwhen the thumb wheel is turned upward.
Deactivate the rain sensorDeactivate the rain sensor by pressing the
rain sensor button or moving the lever
upward to another wiper mode. The rain sensor is automatically deactivated in ignition mode 0 or when the engine is
switched off. The rain sensor is also automatically deacti- vated when the wiper blades are put in theservice position. The rain sensor will reactivatewhen service mode is switched off.
CAUTION
The windshield wipers may start inadver- tently and be damaged in automatic carwashes. Deactivate the rain sensor whenthe engine is running or when the ignitionis in mode I or II. The symbol in the instru-
ment panel will go out.

Activating and deactivating the rain sensor's memory function
The rain sensor monitors the amount of water on the windshield and automatically startsthe windshield wipers.
When the memory function is activated, the rain sensor button does not need to bepressed every time the vehicle is started: 1. Tap

Using automatic rear window wiping when backing up
If reverse gear is engaged while the wind- shield wipers are on, the rear window wiperswill start. This function is deactivated when adifferent gear is selected.

Restarting the massage function
The massage function turns off automatically after 20 minutes. The function is reactivatedmanually.
–Tap Restart, which is displayed in the
center display, to restart the selected mas- sage program.

The settings for the multifunctional seats can be adjusted using either the mutifunctioncontrol on the seat or the center display. Theadjustment settings are shown in the centerdisplay.
Adjusting front seat massage settingsThe front seat backrests have a massage func- tion. Air-filled cushions provide the massagingaction and a number of settings are available. The massage function can only be activated when the engine is running.
1. Activate the multifunction control by turn-

3. Select massage settings by tapping the center display or by moving the cursor up/ down using the multifunction control's upper

length Depending on the selected equipment level, the length of the seat cushion can either be adjusted using the multifunction control * on
the side of the seat cushion, or manually adjusted using the control on the front of theseat cushion.
Adjusting seat cushion length using the multifunction control

Push in the front part of the four-way button

Enhance comfort in the front seat by adjust- ing the sides of the backrest.
The multifunction control is located on the side of the seat cushion.
The side bolsters in the front seat backrests can be inflated/deflated to adjust the amountof support provided. The settings for the multi-functional seats can be adjusted using eitherthe mutifunction control on the seat or thecenter display. The adjustment settings areshown in the center display. To adjust the side bolsters:

Adjusting the passenger seat from the driver's seat *
The front passenger seat can be adjusted from the driver's seat.
Activating the functionThe function is activated via the function view in the center display:
Tap the
Adjust Passenger
Seat button to activate.
Adjust passenger seatThe driver must adjust the passenger seat within 10 seconds of activating the function. Ifno adjustment is made within this time, thefunction will be deactivated. The driver adjusts the passenger seat using the controls on the driver's seat:
Move the passenger seat forward/rear- ward by moving the control forward/rear-ward.
Change the backrest tilt of the passenger seat by moving the control forward/back-ward.
