In an accident, the belt airbag may damage a
non-appr oved child restraint system or a child
re straint system which has not been appro ved

mends that you only use a child restraint sys-
te m which has been tested and appro vedby
Mercedes-Benz in combination with a belt air-

ri or Assistant, the seat belt extender extends

The seat belt extender retracts again in thefo llo w-

belt buckle R
the seat belt tongue is not engaged in the seat
belt buckle within a cer tain time

press the seat belt extender back as far as it will

lision brake can minimise the se verity of a fur ther
collision or even avo id it. If an accident is de
tected, the post-collision brake
