th e easy entry and exitfeature is active, the
stee ring wheel will mo veupwards and the driver's
seat will mo veback in thefo llowing situations:
R You switch o. theve hicle when the driver's
door is open.
R You open the driver's door when theve hicle is
switched o..
% The steering wheel will then mo veupwards
only if it is not already as high as it will go.
The driver's seat will then mo vebackwards
only if it is not already at there ar of the seat
adjustment range. The driver's seat backrest will
then mo vefor-
wa rds only if it is not already in the frontmost
position.
The steering wheel and the driver's seat will mo ve
back tothe last drive position in thefo llowing
cases:
R You switch the po wer supply or theve hicle on
when the driver's door is closed
R You close the driver's door when theve hicle is
switched on.
The last drive position will be sa ved when:
R You switch o. theve hicle.
R You sa vethe seat settings via the memory
function.
If yo u press one of the memory function position

warning lights will switch on automati-
cally if:
R the airbag has been deplo yed.
R theve hicle is heavily braked from a speed of
more than 70 km/h toa standstill.
When you pull away again, the hazard warning
light system will switch o. automatically at
appr oximately 10 km/h. You can also switch o.

When the turn signal indicator is activated, the

driving and weather situation and pr ovide exten-

R When speeds greater than 100 km/h are

% You can activate the enhanced fog light func-
tion up toa speed of 100 km/h byswitching

The o.-road light impr oves illumination during o.-
ro ad driving. The low beam is distributed symmet-
ri cally and across a wide angle, and brightness is
increased slight ly. This makes it easier to/nd your
wa y when driving o.-road and todetect obs tacles
at an ear lystage. The acti veheadlamps are deac-
tivated during this time so that steering mo ve-
ments do not change the illumination.
The function is active when the low beam is
switched on if you are not driving at a speed

Electrolyte may escape if the glass in an auto-
matic anti-dazzle mir ror breaks.
The electrolyte is hazardous tohealth and cau-
ses ir rita tion. It must not come into contact
with your skin, eyes, respiratory or gans or
clo thing or be swallo wed. #
Ifyo u come into contact with electrolyte,
obser vethefo llowing:
R Immediate lyrinse the electrolyte
from your skin with water and seek
medical attention.
R If electrolyte comes into contact with
your eyes, immediately rinse them
th oroughly with clean water and seek
medical attention.
R Ifth e electrolyte is swallo wed, imme-
diately rinse your mouth out thor-
oughl y.Do not induce vomiting. Seek

outside mir ror will swivel down wards in the direc-
